About
New Orleans Streetwalkers Tours is a owner-operated licensed and insured tour experience specializing in unique haunted and historical cocktail walking adventures of the French Quarter, New Orleans. How else are we different from other walking tour companies? 1) Small groups. Always. 2) We have only one guide, the one you are reading about in these reviews, so you know his work is approved by others like you. 3) Two of our tours include an alcoholic beverage. 4) We specialize in intimate custom tours, including bachelor and bachelorette parties and corporate groups. 5) We have exclusive access into one-of-a-kind, behind-the-scenes locations. At New Orleans Streetwalkers Tours, we believe a tour company should excel at four things: accurate history, entertainment, good advice and great customer service. We strive honestly to deliver them all.

This was actually the third tour I went on with Brian, and all three were great. I moved to New Orleans a year ago and did his French Quarter tour to get some insight into the quarter’s history and loved his style. I next did his Boos! and Booze Tour when a few friends came to visit and we had a lot of fun learning of different haunted restaurants and bars. This third tour I went on was on NOLA tapas and it was a great way to learn about some of the best spots in the city for tasty appetizers and even tastier cocktails. All the places we went to were great, and Brian regaled us with interesting details about all of them. It was a great way to learn of great spots in the city even for someone who has been here for a year, just because Brian knows all the best spots and the right people at these spots to hook you up with great experiences. Very heartily recommended!

Hey, Christian! Third time's a charm, as the saying goes: always appreciate your loyalty to my tours, but--given our present circumstances in this C19 world--a huge shout out to you for jumping in the game on the inaugural 'flight' of the NOLA TAPAS tour. Truly happy you enjoyed it. Thanks for your insightful suggestions, the pics, trusting me again with friends on this new adventure, and, of course, the rave review. I 'preciate ya. Salud!

Brian was incredibly prepared, informative and fun. As a local I was blown away by how much I learned and he did so without overdoing it or boring me. The drinks and bites were fantastic, he chose really great places and enhanced my perspective on my own city. Highly recommend!

Always humbled when I receive kudos from a local and their krewe. Thank you, Jared, for this wonderful review and I couldn't have done it without y'all. The success of a tour certainly falls on the skill of the guide, but may I add that that success also flows from the energy of their guests. Y'all's legit love for this city, worthy small plates and damn fine cocktails made sharing all of the above with you a pleasure. Salud!

When searching for things to do while in NOLA, the first thing I thought of was "tours". When I googled tours, I found this one. The Booze caught my attention(free drink) and I thought "how fun". And it was just that...and more. Our guide Brian, was funny..sarcastic, enthusiastic and very accurate with his knowledge of the stories he told. I have to admit, I got chills from the story about the history of Arnauds restaurant (I seriously recommend googling it) and the "little dead hands". I would absolutely book this tour again....and if you are looking for a good drink, some chilling stories and some fun, this is the tour you want.

Our Boos! & Booze tour was one of the great way to start off our first night in NOR. Brian was a great story teller! He lead us through some the historical buildings (with haunting tales) and great bars of the city.
Our tour ended at the French 75 bar, where we enjoyed some great cocktails with Brian and chit chat until the bar was closed. A must do for being in NOLA.

This tour was le bomb! Brian’s breadth of knowledge was truly impressive. My daughter and I especially liked the hidden gem “Mardi gras” museum and plush art deco private dining room @ Arnauds (pictured here). And oh the booze-had thie best “swamp water” and Sazerac!. Will mos def recommend this tour to friends/family. :)

Greetings, bgrrl! "Le bomb," indeed! May I apply your own words to yourself and your daughter, sgrrl? I truly appreciate your take on life and sense of humor. It was so much fun talking ghosts and cocktails with y'all while touring the dark side of the French Quarter. I trust the rest of your stay was awesome and hope my recommendations for food and drinkies lived up to expectations. Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the Boos! & Booze tour here! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving and holiday season and hope to see y'all again in NOLA in the future. Cheers! Brian

Brian was our guide for this tour. I had previously toured with him, my adult daughter was on her first trip to the city. We both had a blast! It was a small group, only 4, so we each had time with Brian to ask questions. He changes up his tour so there was new stuff for me but he is such a mesmerizing storyteller, what I repeated was just as fascinating! Plus, super delicious drinks are available at each stop, some just seem exclusive to their place. All in all, one of the best tours in the city and I will go again each time I visit New Orleans

Caroline: I 'preciate you! You always jump in the Boos! & Booze game when in town. And you always talk my tours up to the people. I am very happy that we were able to make our schedules work and it was a pleasure meeting your daughter and sharing New Orleans with her, as well. See y'all next time you are in the Big Easy and have an awesome holiday season. Cheers!

My bestie and I wanted an introduction to New Orleans in a private tour. We liked the description of the private Concierge Tour on the website and decided to book it after Brian gave us excellent response times. The tour was a blast, he knew where the best cocktails, happy hours, appetizers and food were. Add in great storytelling and q and a sessions and it's a great time. My bestie said it was like renting a friend to show you New Orleans.

Salud! artsymrdarcy. I am happy that y'all enjoyed the Cocktail Concierge yesterday and thank you for both this kind and awesome review and your kind and awesome hospitality on the tour. I can think of nothing better than sharing the best of my knowledge regarding New Orleans history and cocktail history, where to imbibe stellar cocktails, indulge indulgent happy hours, and simply feast on luscious small plates that are, indeed, among the finest of what the French Quarter has to offer--with no time limits or stress, truly making the Big Easy our big easy--with new friends. It is an honor and y'all have a new friend here. Cheers!

My boyfriend and I did the Boos & Booze tour and both loved it. My partner is a supernatural skeptic but loved the history and vibe. Brian was an excellent tour guide and is very personable. I definitely recommend taking this tour as it tells lesser known ghost stories from New Orleans and even takes you inside the locations, and includes some killer cocktails.

"I definitely recommend taking this tour as it tells lesser known ghost stories from New Orleans and even takes you inside the locations, and includes some killer cocktails." Kristen, you have distilled the Boos! & Booze tour down to its essence with this one observation: thank you. Also, the history. There are no true stories without accurate history to support them. It was a pleasure having you both on the tour. Salud! for posting this wonderful and insightful review and, oh yeah...the "killer cocktails." Thanks for mentioning them, as well. It just ain't New Orleans without the cocktails. Cheers!

if you love NOLA city history and the examination of cocktails first hand, then this tour is for you...not kitsch-y, but fact-filled and fun! Loved going behind the scenes at Antoine's and really delving into the guests and restauranteurs who made this famous. Drinks were awesome, though my young adult daughter and I often shared, so as not to "mix" so much. Brian sets the "bar" high :) in city tour land! Remember Brian to mind your P's and Q's!!

My husband and I selected the Booze and Boos Tour based on positive reviews here and elsewhere on the Web. Having been on other ghost tours in other cities, we were looking for something less run of the mill for the French Quarter, and we were not disappointed! Our guide was Brian, and he was a gracious, attentive and polite host. Our group that night was small -- 6 including us -- which made for an easy, well-paced walk. Brian is a great storyteller, recounting historical events along with more recent grisly and fascinating mysteries that occurred at buildings around the Quarter. The tour was two hours, but the time seemed to go by quickly as I was so wrapped up in the sordid and ghostly tales Brian relayed so well. Lest I forget, the selection of cocktails (or beer) was pretty decent (I went for the Swampwater -- not too overly fruity, very refreshing, and full size to-go cup). I would recommend this to anyone (adults) wanting a true insider's view of some of the people and events that you would not learn about otherwise.

How much walking is this tour? Are there places to sit or is it all standing & walking? Thank you for your response. I don't want to book something that I won't be able to handle.
Written January 21, 2016
It is a lot of walking. Very little sitting. He tried to have sitting at the stops but it's is majority walking. If you prefer less walking I would do bus tours.
