Stumbled into the Art Market by accident, it was a nice surprise. It’s a cute little neighborhood open air night art market in the Frenchmen street district . Good place to get local arts & crafts goods.

I very much enjoyed browsing here on a Thursday evening in December. Lots of local art - some out there, some more practical. We ended up buying a beautiful hand-pressed leather journal for our daughter (which she loved) and talking to many of the vendors....More
Lovely interactions with artists & vendors, good work, nice pieces, and very reasonable prices. On an early December evening, there were, perhaps, fewer booths that might normally be there, but we loved it. I hope this place thrives!
Sad to see all the artists hanging out there on a freezing cold Saturday night. Not much worth buying. Lots of skull art if you like that sort of thing. Better to go to the Dutch Alley Artist's Co-op on Decatur Street during the daytime....More
