About
Celebration Tours is a locally owned and family run New Orleans tour company. We've been operating as a tour company for 12 years and we've helped over 100,000 people embrace the city of New Orleans. We use local, licensed driver guides. Some who have been tour guides for 24 years. The first thing a visitor to New Orleans should do is take a tour of the city. That way you can see how much New Orleans has to offer. We have combined elements of five tours into one exciting city tour! These tours include the French Quarter, Katrina Recovery, Historic Cemeteries, Garden District and New Orleans Architecture. Of course, there is so much more to see and learn about.

During our short staying in New Orleans the tour with Ozzy was absolutely perfect. Being born and raised in this city he put the personal touch to this excursion. We enjoyed all 3 hours listening the history of NO and viewing the incredibly beautiful architecture of old buildings. We stopped for coffee and took some pictures. It felt we know Ozzy for a long time. He is a great guide and I would recommend him to anybody who is visiting New Orleans and would like to see and learn about this city as much as possible for the short period of time.

My partner and I took this tour in January 2020 and it was one of the best tours I had taken that weekend. Wanda had so much knowledge and the places she took us we could not have gotten to see. We went down neighborhood streets that a big bus tour could not go and we really got to see the inside of the N.O. I recommend that anyone looking to do a tour in New Orleans take the Celebration Tour it is truly one of the best.

We had a wonderful tour led by Teddy who was very knowledgeable and very courteous. His New Orleans history was very good and he shared many good stories with us. Overall the tour lasted about the right amount of time and pickup and drop off was very punctual.

Teddy was an awesome tour guide and very knowledgeable of New Orleans since he is a native. My husband and I booked this tour for our first of two days in New Orleans as we figured this would be a good way to see the city with limited time. Teddy picked us up from our hotel in the French Quarter in a very clean 12 passenger van that was also used for the tour. He took us to some awesome spots including Cafe du Monde in City Park, Metarie Cemetery, and celebrity homes (just to name a few). On the way back to our hotel (after dropping off others from our tour at their hotel) Teddy gave us some excellent recommendations on food, including Napoleon House for a Muffuletta since Central Grocery is under renovation. I would definitely recommend Celebration Tours for a tour in New Orleans because it is a much more intimate feeling than a big bus tour and they seem to love the city.

We were traveling with kids (ages 9 and 12) for their first trip to New Orleans, and this was a great way to get an overview of the entire city as it covers everything. Very knowledgable and friendly native New Orleanian driver who engaged with the kids and answered every question they could think of, including a lengthy discussion of the previous night's Saints game. Highly recommend.

We had an excellent tour of New Orleans with Celebration Tours a couple of weeks ago. It was our first day in the city, so it was a really nice, and comprehensive, introduction to the city. Our tour guide was a native of New Orleans and was so knowledgeable about the history and culture of New Orleans. We got to see a lot of different parts of the city beyond the touristy sites. We stopped halfway through the tour at Cafe du Monde in City Park for beignets, and we even got to see an alligator in the lake there! I would definitely recommend this tour as a great overview about the city.

Orion is a gifted ghost storyteller! To know the history behind the legends truly makes this tour one-of-a-kind. Highly recommend for anyone wishing to experience a deeper dive with a bit of humor tossed in (& maybe a song!) see parts of NOLA you might have missed on your own, gain a greater appreciation of this complex city. Well done!

I am a big fan of doing a tour first thing when I get to a city, to help get the lay of the land - but I have been to New Orleans many many times and yet, this tour was absolutely wonderful. I learned so much; we saw many spots on the usual list and then spots that I wouldn't have know to look for! Our guide, Teddy, was full of fun information and made the three hours fly by. I highly recommend this tour -

We had an amazing time learning about the city with our tour guide, Teddy! He was so knowledgable and took us to so many places we would have never gotten to see on our own. Doing this on the first day of the trip was probably the best thing we did while in New Orleans, because it gave us the lay of the land and allowed us to know how to navigate the rest of our stay. We added Teddy's recommendations from our tour to our to-do list and were so glad we did--we got to have some amazing experiences. Myself and the three other friends I was with (all age 27) left feeling so appreciative of the city we were staying in! We will be recommending this tour to everyone we know visiting NOLA!

We chose this tour company because it was highly recommended to us by a daughter that had taken this tour a couple years ago. The tour exceeded our expectations. Oz, our tour guide, is a fifth generation resident of New Orleans. His knowledge of the history of the city was extremely helpful in understanding the culture. The three hour tour was comfortable in the van. For first time visitors to New Orleans this should be a must on your list.
