We cannot thank Scott enough for making this tour so fun. Scott was so knowledgable on New Orleans it’s history and the local area he was so funny right from the beginning and had a large group of us laughing the entire time. His stories as the sun began to set were great and I’m still telling everyone about this tour. I would highly recommend the 5pm 2 hour witches, voodoo, vampire and ghost walking tour.

Scott also provided some great recommendations of bars and places to visit based on our interests.

Thanks so much we will for sure be back!!

Last week, we signed up for the Witches Brew Cemetery Tour of St. Louis Cemetery #1. Our tour guide William was quite knowledgeable, entertaining, and personable. I would highly recommend this event! (Traveler tip - don't buy bottled water from the nearby Cafe before the start of the tour - they're overpriced. Instead, wait until your tour reaches the cemetery - there's a man that sells water and soda in front of the entrance for a dollar a bottle.)

We had Scott for our tour guide and he was absolutely phenomenal! His cadence was spot on as he told each tale and his voice projected well along the French Quarter streets. He was very knowledgeable. The tour was a two-hour walking tour which stopped outside various historical buildings in the French Quarter. Half way through, the group stops to use the restroom and refill beverages. Highly recommend this experience!

Like the title states, I was not allowed on the tour even though I prepaid several days in advance for it. We showed up right as the tour was departing the meet up location, as we had to find the random meet up spot in a very busy city full of tourists doing the same thing. As we began walking up to the tour you can see the attitude on the tour guides face right away. We informed her that we were apart of the tour and apologized that we were just showing up. She automatically refused to hear anything we had to say and told us if we had a problem with not being allowed to attend to email her manager. The tour guide took more time to argue with us about not letting us on the tour, than it would have taken her to count us in and continue on with the night. Regardless, this interaction was horribly unprofessional and I absolutely would not suggest this tour for the shear aspect of their complete lack of regard for their costumers. There are plenty of tours in New Orleans for a better price, better knowledge of the city and actually care about the people they are being PAID to interact with.

Loved our guide for the morning cemetery tour. He was informatice and tried his best to make sure we could all hear. However, the group size ar 23 to 25 people is way to big to have an interactive time with the guide. Also, the one cemetery we went into, we weren't able to tour the whole thing as there were to many other guide groups in there.

Hard to give a rating as we enjoyed the 3 in 1 Voodoo tour but the 4 in 1 ghost tour was terrible.
The 3 in 1 VooDoo tour was AMAZING. The storyteller (I think we had Robert) did an amazing job of telling us about the history, architecture, and about the cemetery. He kept us entertained and answered any questions we had. He filled the 2 hours with as much information as he could.
The 4 in 1 Ghost tour was a joke. The storyteller was terrible, first she called us her ducklings and kept quacking each time we stopped. We are adults, not 5 year olds. Most of the time we couldn't hear her and when we could, the stories were embellished and she told them terribly. We stopped half way through the tour for ice cream which then switched to alcoholic beverages. Felt the 4 in 1 tour was a waste of our money and left when everyone else was getting drinks, probably to get thru the rest of the tour. We passed several other ghost tours in that first hour and their story tellers were much better than the one we had.
I would recommend the 3 in 1 Voodoo tour, would not recommend the 4 in 1 ghost tour through Witches Brew tours.
It is also advertised as $40 per person for both and we paid almost $60 per person - that is almost $20 in taxes and fees which we thought was ridiculous.

Had a great time on this tour. We enjoyed the stories and time on our tour. This company runs on time and the groups are about 28-30 people. It has one stop at a local bar as an opportunity to grab a drink or use the restroom.

I would highly recommend this tour. M.L. Was fantastic. She knew so much about the city and made the history come alive with great stories! She was super friendly. The weather was uncharacteristically cold and she kept us moving to stay warm. Her interaction with the group was fantastic. We even walked a bit with her after the tour as she gave us book and dining recommendations and parted with a hug! Take this tour!!

Guide was as if reading a script, not much depth in background on stories and more about trying to act out the story in strange voices. Chose to leave 2/3rds through tour. First New Orleans tour I have ever wanted to leave!

I don't think I've ever actually left a review on a walking tour but I'm making an exception for this one in particular. The other two groups that didn't show up for our 4 in1 (spooky and regular) history tour both seriously missed out and did us a huge favor. We essentially had a personal version of the tour one on one with our tour guide, Taylor, who seemed genuinely excited and informed about all the deeply (and I mean, *deeply*) haunted stops we made around town, and then some. I take a ghost tour in basically every city I visit and the guide can really make or break the experience. With that said I've gotta say it was honestly one of the best one's I've been on so far, solid 13/10 in my book. I especially liked hearing about og baddie Baroness de Pontalba and absolute menace Jacque St. Germaine. I'd list all the other stuff that stuck out to me but that would be damn near every stop so I'll just keep it at those to avoid spoilers lol. If you're a local lore and oddity enthusiast you'll probably have a great time, I'd definitely recommend it if you're in town for this kind of jawn. Much love from Philly <3
