We took full advantage of this company by signing up for three tours whilst in the city. There is a booking fee, and we were informed that if you (the customer) doesn't pay it the guide has to, so its worth doing, or if you don't remember this when tipping. The first tour we did on out first day was the French Quarter Tour with Sandy. This was a great tour, she was funny, informative and answered all questions we had. We ended near the French market, and its definitely worth having a look around for bargains and the best Hurricanic to sample. The tour gave us a great understanding of the area and helped us get our locations for the rest of the trip. We did the Ghost tour with Meri, this was in the evening and again focused in the French Quarter, this tour was ok but I would have like there to be more ghost stories as it felt there was a lot of general information which was a bit of a shame. Finally we did the Voodoo Tour with Priest Robi. The meeting for this is just outside of the French Quarter and stays in a park, so is good for people with limited mobility. I went with limited knowledge about Voodoo, if you are expecting spells and witchcraft you will be disappointed, if you want to learn what Voodoo really is, how and why it was created and how it is practiced today, this is for you. Robi is informative, entertaining and will challenge your views. It is a lot to take in but something so different and moving that I would recommend anyone with an open mind signs up.
