Balcony Music Club (or "BMC") is conveniently located on the corner of Esplanade and Decatur. Although this music venue is in the French Quarter, and it isn't technically on Frenchmen Street (one block away), it's definitely a part of the Frenchmen...more

No cover, no one smoking and a wonderful band on a Thursday afternoon. Ansley Madigan was the name of the band, with 5 terrific players.

Just of Frenchman St. Cannot believe this place wasn't packed. Stopped in on a Tuesday and a Thursday. Loved all the bands. Our favorite was dapper dandies. Drinks were reasonably priced. No cover or minimum.

Just drop by any evening, buy a drink, and soak up the sounds. We stopped here two evenings to hear what was on offer and had a great time both visits. There's no cover, to there's no reason not to give it a try.

Great band, no cover, and a crowd with that was young at heart. It was great to hear classic tunes done by a live band.

Visited during a recent Stay in NOLA - what a place. As honest and true a 'Live Music' venue and as you will ever get. The bands performing were 'Top draw' and authentic, which coming from England to this legendary city was exactly what we...More
