We went there to have something else to do while on vacation. It was smaller than I thought it would be, the food selection was kind of small but we did have a good time and the staff was nice.

Went on a weekend when there was a Cajun dance band. Between my wife and I we have three left feet but we were encouraged to dance, and given some tips from people who turned out to be rocking dancers. The place is cool, when...More

We recently had a surprise party with about 80 people at Rock n Bowl on a Saturday night. We could not have been more pleased with the venue, the staff, the food, bowling and music! Everything was great! I expected the bowling and the music...More

Bowling alley, bar, food stand, dancehalk with live bands. Sells souvenir bowling shirts (makes unique gift) & t-shirts. Predominatly Catholic city so no surprise Virgin Mary statue in lighted box greets you before you turn corner to enter.

So fun! I've heard about this place for years, and so glad we went. It's well worth the trip to hear great Zydeco and Cajun music and watch people dance. You may even dance by yourself, it's hard to sit still while all that fun...More

Very cool venue. Lotsa space, good seating, fair prices, full bars, and sometimes live music. The staff was friendly.

There is no other place in New Orleans (or elsewhere) like the Rock 'n' Bowl. If you've never been, it's a must-do. People and staff are friendly, and there is a family vibe as dancers of all ages stomp and spin to the infectious zydeco...More

A wonderful, eclectic assortment of people who are clearly regulars. Zydeco music brings out the fun in everyone, no matter which band plays. Great people watching. Ye Olde College Inn is owned by same folks, so dinner there gets you a discounted admission. And you...More

If you're from out of town and don't necessarily know your way around I would suggest cabbing/ubering it there. It's not far. However, if you're in the mood to ride the streetcar all the way and then walk to Rock N' Bowl... More

We do have picnic tables inside the alley as well as a handful of high boy tables and chairs. If you are bowling, there are benching for you to sit on as well while you wait your turn.
