Great time.

Great time, our guide was great too. Everything about the experience was really nice. The weather, the park, the boat!

Enjoyable, romantic way to spend an afternoon with your significant other. Robert was great! Not only was the gondola ride beautiful/relaxing... It was a memorable, fun honeymoon memory for my husband and me. A++++

Book this! Don't hesitate! First time for us and we took the 7 pm evening slot and WOW! It was so wonderful, peaceful, beautiful and fun. I will make this a "must do" ever time I go to NOLA!

My wife and I were given this 30th anniversary wedding gift by our daughters, which came as a wonderful, complete surprise. We brought a bottle of champagne along for the ride and were serenaded by Daniele and his guitar as Robert took us through the peaceful and beautiful lagoons of City Park, a hidden gem. Daniele and Robert are wonderful.... More

What an amazing find. After spending a week in New Orleans, we were all tired of the tourist scene. When talking about what we enjoyed the most and would recommend to others visiting, we all agreed that Nola Gondola was the highlight of the trip. A relaxing stroll (ride) back in time. The owner is knowledgeable and made the trip... More

Did this trip as a surprise for my husbands birthday. It was so much fun. We brought a bottle of wine for the trip. Robert was awesome. He told us a lot of history about the park and was just fun to chat with.

Spectacular views. Loved speaking with the owner who has been doing this for a very long time. We skipped the cheese and crackers but did bring wine. Tips I can leave you with: If your ride gets canceled due to bad weather site indicates you can reschedule, which would be hard to do if your only there for a short... More

Staying in Lakeview

Neighborhood Profile
Lakeview
Lakeview extends inland from the shores of Lake Pontchartrain with much of the area reserved for family-friendly City Park. Home to the New Orleans Museum of Art, the Besthoff Sculpture Garden, Carousel Gardens Amusement Park, and the city’s own lush Botanical Gardens, City Park is a New Orleans gem and the perfect spot for outdoor fun with as much of a mix of culture and/or amusement as you would like. Beyond City Park more great excuses to stay outside beckon, whether on land or by boat. Developed a good deal later than most other New Orleans neighborhoods, Lakeview has a distinctively different look and feel compared to other parts of the city. Fans of mid century modern design and contemporary architecture particularly enjoy leisurely drives around the residential streets of Lake Vista, Park Island and along Lakeshore Drive.
