Breath taking experience! Added bonus, the gondola takes you by the outdoor sculpture garden. Great photo ops. Fall in love all over again...❤️

The gondola ride is one of the best kept secrets of New Orleans, as we encountered locals who didn't even know about this gem! Roberto was the perfect host, offering friendly service, flexibility when we had to reschedule, wine glasses for any beverage you bring, cheese and crackers, romantic music playing (Andrea Bocelli), told us romantic traditions to enjoy (like... The gondola ride is worth every penny. It's a lifetime of memories. I wish the gondolier talked a little less so we could just sit back and enjoy the quietness. Or let us to talk to each other but it was amazing. I recommend it 1000 percent

Amazing and romantic experience that we will not forget. The gondola is a cute and pretty antique piece adding something special. Recommend this when you are in NOLA and visiting the pretty City Park!

City Park is my favorite place to unwind with such beautiful scenery and a plethora of recreational activities at your disposal. My girlfriend and I rent out the canoes and paddle boats regularly but when we saw the gondola we knew that it was something that we absolutely had to do. With her birthday sneaking up I decided to make... More

Enjoyable, romantic way to spend an afternoon with your significant other. Robert was great! Not only was the gondola ride beautiful/relaxing... It was a memorable, fun honeymoon memory for my husband and me. A++++

Staying in Lakeview

Neighborhood Profile
Lakeview
Lakeview extends inland from the shores of Lake Pontchartrain with much of the area reserved for family-friendly City Park. Home to the New Orleans Museum of Art, the Besthoff Sculpture Garden, Carousel Gardens Amusement Park, and the city’s own lush Botanical Gardens, City Park is a New Orleans gem and the perfect spot for outdoor fun with as much of a mix of culture and/or amusement as you would like. Beyond City Park more great excuses to stay outside beckon, whether on land or by boat. Developed a good deal later than most other New Orleans neighborhoods, Lakeview has a distinctively different look and feel compared to other parts of the city. Fans of mid century modern design and contemporary architecture particularly enjoy leisurely drives around the residential streets of Lake Vista, Park Island and along Lakeshore Drive.
