We went on the Lee Harvey Oswald/JFK Conspiracy tour in late July and it was outstanding. Our guide David Feldman was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate on the subject matter, with all kinds of interesting information and scintillating tidbits. Even if you are not a history buff or a JFK conspiracy researcher, this tour is an interesting and informative walk through... More

Our tour guide was very fun and gave an equal amount of history and ghost stories. The walk was about two hours, and he was very willing to stop and take pictures of us, and answer questions.

We arrived at the coffee shop 15 minutes early, and David Feldman greeted us, offering us water and coffee. He gave our girls bead necklaces, and we began the tour. For first time New Orleans visitors, the tour was perfect, touching on all the important points (city history intertwined with the country history, lifestyle, and today’s city problems), all while... One of the highlights of our trip to New Orleans was the Lee Harvey Oswald/JFK Conspiracy tour. Our guide was David, who was at Kennedy’s inauguration and at his funeral. The tour began at 554 Camp Street, where Guy Bannister’s office was located. (If you've seen the JFK movie or done any research about the assassination, you'll understand why this... More

Loki is the BEST! We were a group of girls on my bachelorette party weekend and he gave us the perfect private tour! He kept us all very entertained and happy (which is hard when Handeling 9 girls!) Loki grew up in NoLA and genuinely loves the history of this town. His passion for the city and happy-go-lucky yet attentive... More

As part of a bachelorette party, we had a private tour with Loki the tour guide. I cannot say enough good things about our experience, and I am talking on behalf of all of the girls. Not only did Loki specify the tour to what we wanted to know, but he was completely accommodating as the rain delayed our progress... More

They have tours for everyone. The sale person was very informative and able to convince us to do a bus tour. If you are not on a tight budget I recommend this place. 👍😎

Amazing way to travel around the French Quarter in New Orleans. This tour had an awesome tour guide that really tailored his approach to the people within the tour - telling us not only about the ghost legends but about the true history behind the buildings and historic people that lived in them. Groups are limited to 12 people, which... More

Perfect way to see the French Quarter and learn about its colorful past! The tour has a maximum size of 12 which makes the tour more personal. We were a group of 10 all from Vancouver, Canada visiting for a conference and so they basically made it our private tour. Our guide realized he had a group of skeptics on... More

Staying in French Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
