For two hours, we’ll take you on an air conditioned ride throughout some of the most famous neighborhoods in New Orleans. We’ll show you the landmarks you don’t want to miss, and we’ll share the stories you’ll love to hear. We’re a small company run by New Orleans locals, so our heritage runs deep. We’ll take you from the Treme to the Garden District, the 9th Ward to the back streets of The French Quarter. We’ll tell you where the best crawfish are, or where to get the coldest beer. We love New Orleans. It’s our mission to make sure that when you step off our buses you’re in love with this great city as well. Come experience the best two hours of your vacation today.

Our tour guide, Justin, is very knowledgeable, pleasant, and friendly. Justin also has a great sense of humor, which we appreciated. It can be challenging to find a parking spot on the nearby streets, so give yourself some time. There is a Premier parking lot across the street from VIP Tour shop, 613 Decatur Street, which can run around $20. The man inside the shop was helpful with our questions and there is a restroom available inside.

We researched all of the tours offered by every company in Nola and this was by far the best for the price, the areas covered for two hours, and the driver/tour guide was very knowledgeable. I think his name was Jarrod. No way we would have seen all of this on our own. We've been on tours all over the United States and this was one of the most interesting . We learned a lot. They give a good description on their website of what you will see, but you actually see and do more. When you stop at the park you get a bathroom break and they have a Cafe Dumonde there where you can get more Beignets. Loved it. Take the tour, enjoy it, and when another hurricane heads their way pray for them because now you know what all is really at stake. Heart breaking. Love the people, love the place, love the food. What an awesome vacation. We will be back and will do this tour again, and I am sure we will enjoy it as much the second time around.

Great tour! Stupha (Chris) was fun and knowledgeable. He kept us entertained the whole time. We’re typically a couple who enjoys exploring a new city on foot, but the city bus tour was much better than we could have asked for. We went into areas we wouldn’t have made it to otherwise. There’s much more to NO than just Bourbon St and the bus tour helped us see that. Definitely make it part of your agenda when visiting. VIP was also super flexible. We booked our tour the night before and they made sure to accommodate us. They kept us informed as to where the driver was. Then the driver called to keep us updated when he was a few minute behind due to ROA’s closures. I would for sure use VIP again! Just overall a fantastic experience.

Recommended! Great for the first day so you can get out and explore more the rest of the trip. Chris/Topha was an awesome guide. We also booked this on a busy weekend the night before and got a deal by booking online! They have multiple vans so they can accommodate you.

We elected to pay for a tour because driving around this city yourself is crazy. We got a good overview of several areas.

When we booked they did have an online special going on, so was nice to save some money. We were not staying in the city, so we were given an address of where to meet the bus. It was easy to find and was located across from a public parking lot which really helped. Justin was our tour guide and he did a great job of explaining the facts and history about the city.

I highly recommend starting your stay in New Orleans with this tour and if you can, request JUSTIN he is fantastic- his tour was informative both historically and from a current perspective. it was a great way to se the overall layout of the city and get a feel for all it has to offer. TWO THUMBS WAY UP!

We loved our tour because it set us up for our open itinerary. We are not ones to plan every moment of a vacation, and by taking the city tour first, we were able to make some decisions about what and where we wanted to see. Our tour guide was amazing and gave us the tip that resulted in our best meal and our best adventure. THANK YOU, Nicholas!

Chris did a great job narrating the tour. It was interesting to learn the lay out of the city while learning a bit of the city's history. I highly recommend the tour as to way to get acquainted with the city before deciding which areas to explore further.

Justin did an amazing Job describing tje Historic Landmarks of New Orleans. He had a great sense of humor and kept us all engaged in what he was saying. He was also open to answering any questions that the guest on the tour had.

Yes, it does. Very interesting too as you see the place where levees were breached and rebuilding efforts.

Do you have price and scheduling information for VIP city tours? I cannot book or see prices and scheduling on their website which is somewhat odd.

Don't remember exactly, but think it as $90 for the 2 of us, thought that was a little high. They had a rep in a storefront in NO, but they do hav a phone number...I would call. They did pick us up at the hotel which was good.

We are planning a trip to NOLA in March of next year and would like to get pricing on your city tours for two folks. Tentative dates are March 18 to 20. What time does the tour start, how long is the tour and do you pick up and drop off at our hotel or do we come to your location?

This is such a great tour company. We were picked up right at our hotel and the tour actually ran a bit longer than 2 hours. We had a small group and everyone thought this was a wonderful company. We had group rate, but no matter what you pay, it'll be worth it. Also, the buses are small so the tour can go to places the large buses can't.
