Great night spot for music, drinks and friends

A friend had stepped in to play with the Treme Brass Band so we had to go see him! They were so accepting of the new kid and gave him the chance to shine. Great band!! The club... read more

Title says it all really. Great selection and range of beers but the barmaid was so rude and arrogant the visit was spoiled and we couldn't stay. Listening to her complain at length about the customers, the band from the night before and her generally feeling that everything and everyone was beneath her was more than we could stomach. Massive... More

A friend had stepped in to play with the Treme Brass Band so we had to go see him! They were so accepting of the new kid and gave him the chance to shine. Great band!! The club was fairly full and had lots of space for dancing. They have an extensive beer list. We had a great time!

NOLA is definitely a cocktail city and I am a craft beer fan so d.b.a. was a nice break. They have a huge array of beer on tap, it was really clean, and they had great live music. We went twice on our short trip. The entire Frenchmen area is just so fun.

Visited twice on our last trip. They have a mix of free and paid music throughout the week. Plus they have a huge menu of whiskeys. During the day, it was quiet, and the service was pleasant (although a little distracted with prep and clean-up). When we returned later in the week for Treme Brass Band, it was crowded but... More

We recently visited on our first night in NO specifically to hear Meschiya Lake but I also knew they had a great beer selection which would make my husband happy. This was a great start to our vacation and we had a wonderful time visiting with welcoming locals and drinking delicious local beers (NO ML or Bud light in this... More

My husband and I have visited this bar twice and we love the drinks and music. I also love the laid back atmosphere of the bar.

Go here for the music. Love Treme Brass Band. They were worth the $5 cover. But don't bother to try to order a drink, especially if you're a woman over 40. I literally stood at the bar for 5 minutes with cash visibly in my hand and was completely ignored. One bartender actually chose to go pick up trash by... More

$10 cover to see the best voices in NOLA. My boyfriend and I enjoyed a fun night out listening to John Boute and drinking beers. Small space so it does get crowded, but everyone is lost in the music and you don't even notice!

If you love trying different types of beer and listening to great music this is the place to go. This was the best draft beer selection we found in New Orleans. The music was a ton of fun as well.

Love d.b.a., as one of the best places on Franchmen street it can get a bit crowded, but never had to wait to get in. There can be a cover sometime, so just be aware, but it is a must stop for those looking for good music. I've never heard a bad band here, even if the music isn't always... More
