We had a great time listening to the 12 piece band Trombone Skinny on a Friday night. This spot is also great for dancing. There is a drink minimum but they were not overbearing about it. A TRUE GEM FOR MUSIC LOVERS!

Upon advise of a New Orleans native, we checked out Walter "Wolfman" Washington at d.b.a. Cover was an extremely modest $5 to get in, with no drink minimum. We enjoyed the music, but the night we were there it was quite packed. There were tables along the edge, but basically limited to standing room only when we arrived. Not the... More

Great blues and Rocking Zydeco. They may have a cover charge, but it is reasonable considering the quality of the musical performances they have there. This is our second year visiting New Orleans, and we love to go here. The big dance floor gets crowded with people watching the show and dancing, and there is not a lot of seating,... More

On a Friday night the brassaholics had this place jumping. The sound was epic and the drinks and staff all great

While it is off of the beaten path, it is worth the visit if you are looking a spot where locals hang out. The bartender, Wendy, is a very nice. The drinks are good. The music is cool.

We saw Chubby Carrier here last week. If you want a taste of zydeco and want to dance - this is the place! Plenty of room and a mix of veteran 2-steppers and tourists all having fun. They have a huge changing variety of beverages posted clearly above the bar. There are 2 sides to the bar - music hall... More

Title says it all really. Great selection and range of beers but the barmaid was so rude and arrogant the visit was spoiled and we couldn't stay. Listening to her complain at length about the customers, the band from the night before and her generally feeling that everything and everyone was beneath her was more than we could stomach. Massive... More

A friend had stepped in to play with the Treme Brass Band so we had to go see him! They were so accepting of the new kid and gave him the chance to shine. Great band!! The club was fairly full and had lots of space for dancing. They have an extensive beer list. We had a great time!
