Upon advise of a New Orleans native, we checked out Walter "Wolfman" Washington at d.b.a. Cover was an extremely modest $5 to get in, with no drink minimum. We enjoyed the music... read more

This bar is good for listening to live music, as they have a stage in the front so everyone can see the performers. The main room, however, near the music, is all standing. I went with some other mid-20-year olds, and we felt well below the average age. I’m not sure if this depends on the day or not, but... More

We were a party of 6 and when we did not tip fast enough ( waiting for one more person to order a drink) the bartender told the other bar tenders not to serve us, we had just had dinner this was our first stop and planned to stay and watch a band, the bartenders would have made out very... More

Love this place. Great selection on Whisky Scotch and Burbon. Nice staff and not always so packed like most bars on Frenchman. If you like Whisky and are on Frechman don't miss this little gem.

We had a great time listening to the 12 piece band Trombone Skinny on a Friday night. This spot is also great for dancing. There is a drink minimum but they were not overbearing about it. A TRUE GEM FOR MUSIC LOVERS!

Upon advise of a New Orleans native, we checked out Walter "Wolfman" Washington at d.b.a. Cover was an extremely modest $5 to get in, with no drink minimum. We enjoyed the music, but the night we were there it was quite packed. There were tables along the edge, but basically limited to standing room only when we arrived. Not the... More

Great blues and Rocking Zydeco. They may have a cover charge, but it is reasonable considering the quality of the musical performances they have there. This is our second year visiting New Orleans, and we love to go here. The big dance floor gets crowded with people watching the show and dancing, and there is not a lot of seating,... More

While it is off of the beaten path, it is worth the visit if you are looking a spot where locals hang out. The bartender, Wendy, is a very nice. The drinks are good. The music is cool.
