You must be a cat lover. I have never seen such an awesome place in the U.S. He is great artist. When you look at his colored work it is amazing considering that he is color blind. We cannot leave NOLA without something from there.

I was looking for an everyday bracelet, and I didn't want to pay a fortune, nor did I want total junk. I found what I was looking for at this gallery for $5. There were also lots of other neat items, like T-shirts and adult coloring books. It was a fun place to stop. If you are on Chartres Street,... More

Visiting this gallery was a wonderful experience. I was able to meet the artist himself, Jamie Hayes, who is funny and engaging to speak with. The other staff in the gallery are fun and full of witty banter. The art is bright, colorful, and representative of the city. The gallery is conveniently located next to Jackson Square. I will definitely... More

A nice experience. My wife loves his art and the staff was so helpful. It's a nice place to stop in and the prices are very reasonable.

Colorful, crazy and playful art studio/store that captures the eclectic spirit of NOLA and it's people. Jamie's art is fun and full of personality. Something for everyone, including t-shirts, jewelry, framed and unframed prints and super cute colorful Voodoo dolls. Even if you're not a collector of vibrant art, stop in, walk around and get yourself a Jamie Hayes coloring... More

I found this small gallery by accident a few years back while wandering the streets of the French Quarter and fell in love! I was fortunate enough to meet Jamie Hayes on that visit and have him sign two of his handmade Voodoo Dolls for my granddaughter along with a children's book and several T shirts. The artwork is beautiful... More

Many years ago we visited NOLA on a business trip we wandered into the gallery and fell in love. Jamie Hayes is as much a part of NOLA as poor boys and jazz. We started a collection of his work that day and many years later we still collect his work but now we live close to New Orleans so... More

Have always just walked by when ever I was in NO, however, this time we decided to go in and look. Lots of color and interesting designs. Saw several items I would like to have for my home. Next time for sure.

Staying in French Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
