Katheryn was amazing and we could really see the passion she has for the history of the French Quarter. She took really great care of us and spent so much time talking to my GF’s 10 year old son. I would recommend having Kathryn as your guide for any of the tours, I am certain she is just as passionate about all of the story’s she shares.

Great your from a knowledgeable and compassionate guide

Our guide was Katherine and we couldn't have had a better experience. Her love of the city shone through, tempered by her consistent acknowledgement of its dark past and the way that history has shaped the streets through which she guided us. It was fantastic to hear stories about New Orleans from a true New Orleansian who both loved her city and saw it through clear eyes, telling tales of the city through an expert but compassionate lens. This group of English visitors could not have been happier. Thank you.

Our group did the 8pm tour with Catherine as our guide and let me tell you — she was the most engaging, captivating, and passionate guide! Her energy telling these hundred (or thousand) year-old documented folklore legends brought these stories to LIFE! We learned so much about the magic and dark past of New Orleans, especially the French quarter. I wish she had been my history teacher! 10/10 would recommend. The bogo hurricanes were a bonus. There was a chance to pause and use the restroom, purchase additional beverages, and free water. Definitely would do this again with Catherine. Thank you!

Captivating Haunted Tours

French Quarter Phantoms creates haunting, funny, memorable tours of the darker aspect of New Orleans; the draw of many travelers like me. Not only did French Quarter Phantoms tell great stories of the history of the darker side of New Orleans, but they created an inclusive experience. They accommodated me as a blind person by providing me a fun, friendly, helpful guide so that I could enjoy the tour like everyone else. I would definitely recommend any of French Quarter Phantom's tours to my fellow travelers.

Best Part Of Our Trip! Thanks Katherine!

My Husband and I went on this tour with our two teenage sons out first night in NOLA. We had Katherine as our guide and she was INCREDIBLE! We have done so much since the tour and it’s still all we are talking about!

Katherine was so knowledgeable and was reverent when appropriate. She communicated the true history of the French Quarter without any gimmicks or costumes. It was spooky and unnerving and humbling. We did the Ghost and Vampire tour and it was really an awesome experience.

It was cold and raining off and on the whole time and still Katherine managed to make this the best part of our trip!

This was the only thing we did where our boys didn’t pull out their phones and zone out once!

The people at the Voodoo Lounge were also super nice and the experience overall was just top tier!

10/10 would recommend!!!!

French Quarter Phantom’s Ghost and Vampire tour was INCREDIBLE! Ghost, vampire, and IMMERSIVE HISTORY in a two hour waking tour. Our guide, Dylan, was a radical storyteller- weaving folklore and evidenced history beautifully and wildly. A true historian. Two hours went by in a blink- we could have had an entire day tour and still been wow’ed and entertained. Highly recommend the Ghost and Vampire tour, recommended to us by Southern Living Magazine and Discovery Channel!

A ghostly stroll through the French Quarter

We met at the Voodoo Lounge, and had a 2 for 1 Hurricane before the tour. Ya ya, our tour guide, was very personable and informative. Her mastery of storytelling was exceptional. As we strolled through the French Quarter, listening to her stories,Ya ya was able to hold the the entire group’s interest. The mid point rest break was at the MRB bar for about 15 min. I have taken ghost walks with other companies in the past and this one was the best.

Our guide made the experience spectacular!!

Lots of cool stories about the ghosts and vampires and while entertained by our amazing guide, Nika, the history of the city was woven into the conversation. Nika was charismatic and fun and never left us bored for a second! She recommended great food and drink and make sure to ask her about the frachos!! If you can get a tour with Nika, do it! We’ve been blessed thus far with tour guides who are also locals and it really gives you soooo much more of a fulfilling experience. We went on the Ghost and Voodoo tour at night before the larger Mardi Gras festivals which made it even more spooky and private.

Fantastic Customer Service

We had a wedding to attend with lots of family coming up in April. Due to the travel restrictions and the Corona virus the wedding was postpone until fall and many people couldn't travel. We had a private Ghost tour reserved and the Treme tour. Cindi was wonderfully responsive and canceled our tours and refunded the money. French Quarter Phantoms is my favorite tour company and I highly recommend them for everyone traveling to New Orleans!

Entertaining Tours

We did the Ghost and Vampire tour with Malika and the Saints and Sinners tour with Peter and both were very I formative and entertaining. Malika made the experience fun and exciting even when the information was grim and frightening. Both tour guides did a great job explaining the locations we visited and gave us a lot of history and information about each location we went to. I would 100% recommend each tour for anyone interested in being entertained as well as learning about the legends and history of the French quarter.
