We did the St. Louis Cemetery Tour #1. The tour began at the Voodoo Lounge, friendly and welcoming bartender. The tour itself was pretty average but, it was the tour guide who spiced it up with some historical humor.

This was a 90 min walking tour of some of the most interesting places in NOLAs' past. My family and I had a great time learning about the sorted past of New Orleans from Aubrey (very funny ). Fun for all, and not scary.I highly recommend this tour. Wear comfortable sneakers and bring along bottled water.

This toyr was fantastic. The wonderful lady who gave the tour was very engaging and funny! I am so sorry I cannot remeber her name but i will post a pic of her talking about the cemetery. She was very knowledgeable and entertaining! Loved every min of this tour! And the bartender next door was great to harass because we... More

We did the music tour this afternoon with this walking tour group. Justin, our tour guide, told us this is a fairly new tour for this company. Justin did an amazing job of, not just giving us information, but educating us on the history of the development of not just New Orleans music, but many styles of music ranging from... More

Our family of five took the St. Louis # 1 Cemetery tour and had a great time! The tour guide was knowledgeable and kept things moving. I would book them again. We had a Groupon for four of us and purchased one extra ticket, so it was a great value for us. I would like to take some of their... More

Booked online with a discount, and that's the only positive. 2 for 1 hurricanes tasted like Koolaid. Each group has 28 people, which is way too many. Half our group talked or acted out. Tour guide, Dartania, was funny but didn't stop the group members who were ruining it for the rest of us. She talked too fast as well.... More

If you're going to take a cemetery tour in NOLA definitely take it with French Quarter Phantoms. I am a solo traveler on a business trip and I just finished the 11AM tour with Stella. French Quarter Phantoms is more historically accurate and true history based than other local companies I've experienced. Other companies seem who focus more on theatrics... More

Staying in French Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
