Excellent adventure. It was nice to get outside of the Quartet and see another piece of NOLA. This was a great way to mix in good good w great history lessons. Grace was a great guide. She was full if energy, passion, and knowledge. I strongly recommend this adventure whether you are in town for a short or extended visit. The mansions alone are worth the reasonable cost.

We went on two foodie tours in the French Quarter that weekend. One with Sidewalk Food Tours and the other with a competitor. Both had Po Boy sandwiches, but this one was better. It had gravy and an overall better taste. Both had Muffaletta sandwiches, and they were about even. However, this tour also included grilled oysters, in tons of garlic seasoned butter, and for someone with an aversion to oysters, I have to say, they were pretty tasty. This tour also ended with “bbq” shrimp, followed by bread pudding with tons of whip cream. Both were amazing. And the best part of the tour was Grace, a part-time actress and very pleasant, knowledge, attractive, guide. Her communication skills were top notch and at the end, we felt like we knew a lot more about New Orleans, how it came to be, and why we all love it so.

We went on the Saturday before everything shut down for the coronavirus, which was St. Patty's Day weekend. Despite that, Ian, our guide was dressed in St. Patty's Day gear and did an AMAZING job, with his "SHOW MUST GO ON" attitude! We got to eat some very unique dishes and learn about the history of each place we visited, including some really cool houses along the way. Ian made the difference!

My 18 year old daughter and I had a great time on this tour. We had plenty of food and learning about the history of the different foods was really interesting. It just makes you enjoy the experience that much more learning the stories behind each dish. Grace was very knowledgeable and entertaining throughout the afternoon. Highly recommend.
