We had a great time (14 total of us on the tour bus) leaving from the French Quarter and heading out to the Destrehan Plantation. Our tour guide, Nancy, was very sweet and she had loads of information about the history and local lore. We...More

We both had a great time, listening to our guide, sipping cocktails and visiting bars we wouldn't have seen on our own. We often shared a cocktail so we could have a taste. No pressure to buy more. Once we declined buying a drink and...More

I was in town for a medical conference and found some time to get away. I’d always been fascinated by the cemeteries in New Orleans so I decided to take a formal tour. A tour is the only way to go into Saint Louis Cemetery...More

We had a ball on this tour. Sandi was fantastic fun. She was very knowledgeable about the history of New Orleans and took us to places we would never have found on our own. When we had finished it was like saying goodbye to a...More

The Whitney Plantation is an extraordinary and moving experience. Our guide Holly did a fantastic job! You could tell her heart was in the narrative. Highly recommended to get the true story of how plantations were successful due to the backbreaking work of the slaves.

We had a great time tonight with Sandi! She was very informative about the history of the many bars that we went to. She really showed us the classy side of NOLA and allowed us to experience where some of the great cocktails originated. Thanks...More

It is the classy cocktail "history with a twist". it is not a pub crawl and that is why we don't charge to have everyone have a cocktail in each place. Its fun and you can make some worldwide new friends as well.

Upriver is quite industrial, with few historical landmarks of note. We go 7 1/2 miles down river and back, which is about as far as our steamboat can travel in the 2 hours. You noted the cold weather so perhaps you didn't make it to...More

Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other
parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title
might suggest that this area is all about business and
little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you
away from the Central Business District. The CBD
offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be
touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the
world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts
