We took the guided tour on a whim. Emily was informative, funny and passionate about Mardi Gras. It was great to see the costumes up close. There was a room to try on costumes and have a laugh.

While visiting for our anniversary I find a Groupon for this quaint little museum and wasn't sure what to expect. The costumes are beautiful. We did the tour with Emily. She was great. She added so much to the experience with her knowledge of Carnival,...More

This is very small and you can self guide but you lose a lot, I think, if you do. Emily was sharp, articulate and gave the Carnival story a little bit of color while seeing the costumes. Mr. Mack came out and played and that...More

Small but cute museum, nice and cool on a hot July day! Nice displays of costumes from past years and many you can try on. Great to see how you would look on a float tossing out beads. Some short videos you can view to...More

It is a small museum with some cool and intricate costumes on display. There were short videos you could watch about Mardi Gras costumes also. The best part of this museum is you can actually DRESS UP in some costumes and hats. So that's probably...More

This museum is a hidden gem right in the heart of the French quarter. Carl Mack, the president of this venue was our tour guide and gave us a wealth of information. We were so lucky to have him share his endless knowledge of everything...More

We took an Uber. Seem to remember there is parking directly in front of the museum. It was street parking.
