Worth looking at. Stumbled upon walking down Elysian Fields. I remember the tragedy well. The movie was also fairly realistically portrayed.

We remembered those who had passed away in the Deepwater Horizon drilling rig explosion in 2010. The memorial is located on Elysian Fields Avenue in New Orleans.

This memorial is the middle of a road so it's better to just drive by it. It is very interesting but not clearly labeled so I had to look it up after I saw it.

We saw this memorial while on a bus tour of New Orleans. Beautifully done cast bronze memorial statues to those native New Orleanians killed in the Deepwater Horizon disaster in the gulf of Mexico in 2010.
