Neighborhood: French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.

We went for HH, this place did not disappoint. The selection was huge. The food was amazing. We not only ate off the HH menu, we ordered from the dinner menu as well. The drinks were excellent as well. I am craving the cauliflower naan taco as I write this review

We found the Bombay Club while visiting the French Quarter and we're glad we did. It was close to our hotel so we visited it frequently. The drinks were delicious and the food was amazing. Even better, it has great vibes and we got to know other patrons during the course of our visits. We'll definitely visit again during our next trip to the French Quarter.

First - the food is terrific and the service top notch. Oysters Rockefeller were delicious! If you can swing it, try to reserve a booth - there are only four or five of them. Each booth has been individually decorated by a local interior designer which makes it all the more special. If you are a smoker (as I am) - the booths are adjacent to the bar so you can always move over and have a cigarette if the urge hits you. After dinner mover to lounge on the other side of the bar and enjoy liqueurs and coffee and be entertained by some top talents (both music & song).

The most accomodating, classy place we visited on our trip. From the lovely staff to the very present owner, the service lacks for nothing; the drinks are divine and the atmosphere is sexy, warm and inviting.
The live music added to the already terrific amibiance, the band was hot and well versed in almost every genre of music. The curtained booths and location made it a terrific getaway from the madness of the mainstream clubs on Bourbon St. Go, pay the price and get a specialty martini, settle in and ENJOY!!

Great atmosphere! We sat at the bar and enjoyed talking with other patrons. The drinks are very affordable during happy hour. Highly recommend their "Champagne Charlotte!"

My wife drinks cocktails and wine. I do not. I prefer beer. I ordered two beers here and both were skunky. In short - DO NOT ORDER BEER HERE.
Food was fine - I had the boudin scotch egg (but how would anyone mess up a scotch egg?) and my wife had the shrimp and grits - which she liked.

Happened into this place just because it happened to be in our hotel, we had just got in, and it was happy hour. It’s a fantastic happy hour; the black eyed pea hummus was great. But it’s the cocktails that are the reason to come back. I mean, some of their insanely large selection are really pretty intricate to put together, and each one was perfect. Try a Rattlesnake. I mean it. The only downside is that the nightly live music is a little hit or miss (sorry fake Randy Newman guy).

Coming back with colleagues in a few months, and excited to have a place I’m geniunely excited to bring them.

We stayed at the Conti Hotel which is connected to the Bombay club. The club had good food, good drinks with prices consistent with the area. We went back there twice in our three day trip. They have Jazz every day and it isnt too loud that you cant have a conversation. You can even reserve a table ahead of time to be close to the Jazz performers. We had the crap/boudin appetizier (creamy with a kick), the cheeseburger (which was AMAZINGLY tender and juicy) and closed with the raspberry iced cream sandwich with a strawberry coulis. The atmosphere was completely relaxed, good drinks, good food, good Jazz...what more could you want?!?

We stayed nearby and wandered in for Happy Hour. This became our nightly start with outstanding happy hour food and great cocktails. I highly recommend the pork belly tacos...scotch egg and anything else on happy hour menu. For $4 try em all! Bartenders are great and super friendly. You cannot go wrong!

We ate here on our last night in New Orleans. We only wanted a light bite, so opted to eat at the bar. The staff were friendly & attentive, the bar stools were padded and comfortable. I had the BBQ shrimps which were delicious & my husband is still raving about the steak burger. Being able to listen to live music in such a lovely atmosphere was a big bonus, the pianist was amazing. I'm only sorry we didn't find this place sooner, although the bank balance is grateful. Whilst it wasn't extortionately priced, places like this in New Orleans aren't cheap. If we ever find ourselves back in the city, we'd probably return.
