We visited the Bombay Club on the first night of our stay and the Prince Conti. I ordered a burger and fries and my wife and friend shared a fish dinner. The food was good but a bit pricey. The music was good and the...More
We were very cold and requested the air conditioning to be adjusted to make it more comfortable. Both requests were ignored and unfortunately the manager was very rude in his engagement. We were looking forward to the music which was very good, however for food...More
Let me start by saying the service was impeccable. We were able to make a last minute group reservation with no problems. We ordered the bottomless Mimosas and Rose’ and never had a problem getting a refill. Now on to the food. I ordered the...More
I had heard about this place and was told it was a must visit, it’s up a side street and looks like you are walking into a garage, after entering there is a great bar with attentive staff, excellent cocktails great atmosphere and music, we...More
The clubby atmosphere is more sophisticated than many venues in the French Quarter, and we felt quite pampered. We had a couple of their signature martinis and a nice dinner. Portions were small, but the food was delicious. It was an expensive dinner, somewhat of...More
The Bombay Club is in my top five favorite bars in the world. I continue to return and each time leave they’re very happy. We spent two nights there this past week and had some of the best jazz quartet’s and piano soloists with vocals...More
Okay, we came here to have a nice dinner, but what sealed it was the jazz band. The band was awesome, but I felt tge prices were very high fir the little bit of food you got: in particular the appetizers and drinks. The food...More
The Bombay Club is a Wonderful Oasis in the French Quarter!
Just off of Conti & Bourbon Street - setting recessed off the street is the Bombay Club!
Great bar and drinks! The atmosphere is of an old English Steakhouse - but with live jazz...More
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the
Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.

You do not need a reservation for music appetizers and drinks. If you want to sit close to the band or in the bar area. Of course it could be busy and there might be a wait... If you want to eat dinner there are some very attractive private tables farther back. You would want to reservation (I would expect) then. There is also a charming courtyard. But we love being near the music be sure and have a Pimm’s cocktail for me!
