There's just enough voodoo lore here to introduce you to the history and culture of this spiritual practice and to tempt you to bring home a love potion or voodoo doll as a souvenir. Guided swamp, plantation and cemetery tours are available.

This was real voodoo antiques set up and the folks there knew the history about voodoo and hoodoo. Great place to go to start your voodoo tours.

Little more than another shop with some displays mixed in with vodoo items for sale. Nice air conditioning to walk thru with a friendly host . it is free to walk thru and look around.

We have been to NO many times but had never bothered to see this little museum. We went because we didn't have anything else to do at the time. Well---it was small but very informative. Only three rooms and a hall, but it is filled...More

This museum is only $5. It can take 10 minutes to 30 minutes max. (Its essentially 3 rooms) That said, its the only voodoo museum really, very likely in the country. If you have some degree of interest in Voodoo, this is a place to...More

It's only $5 and totally worth it. Its not huge and not unlimited info but the displays and alters are neat to look at and add to. Bring a picture or a small trinket for a prayer offering. Some history but this is more of...More

A tiny little place but entrance is cheap and worth it as its interesting and full of things to look at. Given the voodoo history in New Orleans its a must!

Stumbled upon this museum while walking around the area. It was $5 to walk around (which I wouldn't pay more than that). We were greeted by Madame Cinnamon who was welcoming and funny. She handed us a sheet of paper with information/background that answered some...More

Not much to it, but interesting. There is minimal info, but it's cool to see some of the items inside. It was enough to make the $5 worth it. Unique experience.

This tiny museum is packed with memorabilia and fascinating objects. Offerings (coins, bills, jewelry, notes) are found throughout the rooms at altars and displays. Fun & funky...the museum adds to the NOLA mystique. Cinnamon was a charming resource as she shared her Voodoo knowledge.

A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living

I did not do the reading. I did not see anywhere in the museum to do one, either. It is very small. There are readings all around Jackson Square, though.

Posted admission is 7$ for adults and slightly less for kids but they often change it based on a whim I've found. we paid 8$ for two adults the day we went.
