12-16-17 Supa Sunday. My kids ages 9 and 12 has never been to a race. They were welcomed with open arms and had a great time Everyone was beyond nice. Great family fun

We went to the Fair Grounds Race Course during horse racing season. Its fun to go to. This horse track is the third oldest in the US and has been around since 1852.

Hi, Backpacks are not regularly allowed on property during normal Fair Grounds working hours. You are allowed to bring backpacks to the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival which is held here, but it will also be searched... More

Not year round. Starts week before Thanksgiving through last week of March.
