Have been to House of Blues in another city and was looking forward to it. Unfortunately, the band completely drowned out the singers and were way to loud for the size of the venue. The singers looked like they were just moving their lips, and I know they were good, if you could have heard them. All you could hear... More

Another stop for a drink while exploring. We sat at the bar and we're the only ones besides a table in the restaurant. The bartender was very nice and invited us to watch her perform there. I would like to go back for a show. The bar was ok, good place to stop and see what is going on.

Our doors are open for drinks and dining. We offer free live local entertainment, mostly music, 7 days a week. Thanks for coming to see us. It's great to know how our team is doing. Cheers! More

We wanted someplace to get both good old american dishes but also some Cajun goodies too and this was close to our hotel. The decor is awesome, the food was wonderful and our server was the best. Can't go wrong eating here. The chicken is Soul Clucking Good at House of Blues NOLA.

We chose this restaurant thinking we would experience New Orleans cuisine and music. Food and service was good but wasn't any different than eating a cajin dish at applebees. We called and asked about the music and band and they said live 6 - 9 pm, we were there at 7 and no band and very few people in the... More

Went for a show and were a bit miffed with drink prices - $29 for a Hurricane and a Corona. Amazing shows though - loved it as a venue!

We had the great pleasure to attend this show recently. The unique setting is a joy to see. Each attendee is seated by a staff member who explains the brunch offerings and answers any questions you might have. The quality of the food was excellent and abundant. But most remarkable was the fantastic show headlined by Linda Wright and her... More

Fantastic venue! I recently planned and helped host our corporate private party at HOB. All detailes were planned remotely and with all the information and communications from the HOB staff I knew we would have a great event. Our private room was upstairs in the Parish Room and we hired John Lisi and the Delta Funk. Everyone had a blast.... More

Hello, I visited the House of Blues on vacation with my husband. I thought both the preshow and the show were great. The singers brought tears to my eyes. The food and service were lacking my opinion. We were instructed to go to the omelet station first where there was one guy making working two pans....Needless to say by the... More

Thank you for your feedback about your visit to our Gospel Brunch. We want our guests to have an amazing time, from the show to the food and service. The omelet station is a guest favorite and takes some time to cook fresh to order. We apologize the show started before you were able to make it back to your... More

Staying in French Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
