After spending an afternoon walking the riverfront and around Bourbon Street, this quiet shopping area was a nice break. The Tiffany's is fabulous. There is a multiplex theater on the top floor.

Coming from a small town with a very basic movie theater, this movie experience was a real treat! Small theaters, huge screen, rock/recline seats, and seat side service! The menu is prolific and the bar options are plentiful! So much fun! Buy your tickets online and pick out your seats!

It's a nice pretty large mall, lots of upscale stores, and some normal regular ones too. Clean with a nice tourist clientele.

Easy to get into Parking garage. Go to foot of Canal Street by the River. Visitors driving in compare what your hotel on Canal Street is charging you for overnight parking and then this place. It's cheaper. Only thing is you will have to carry your bags several blocks down the street. Has to be worth it for you. Good... More

Oky so we went to this mall since we were in the city and the mall is so upscale that I wasn't interested. It has in the mall alone Fifth Saks Avenue stores like I don't know 4 stores. On both floors there there with different stuff. I didn't go in so I can't comment. They have a theatre at... More

Living in New Orleans a few friends and I decided to try out this theater. Under the assumption we be in Lazy Boy like chairs with our own personal waitress. What we did have our own waitress but the chairs do not recline back. They are oversized uncomfortable but definitely not lazy boy. We also spent over $250 between food... More

Stopped into a Starbucks and realized it was connected to a beautiful indoor mall. Took a quick walk through, the stores weren't open when we visited. Beautiful interior with designer shops. If you don't want to shop high end then you can head over to the Outlet Collection at Riverwalk.

This isn't my time of shopping, as I'm more of a bargain shopper than a posh shopper, but this is a very pleasant mall to stop at and pretend the 50% off sales mean something. I mean 50% off of $400 is $200, which is for those who shop like that, a great bargain. The mall isn't crowded and swamped... More

Not a big shopper so came here out of curiosity -if you are a shopaholic, you'll love it, so many shops, so many high end quality brands. A few added attractions like the food court and cinemas.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
