About Confederacy of Cruisers Bike Tours
Ride with us through the New Orleans neighborhoods we live in with the cities original and oldest bike tour company. It’s been over 11 years of great tours and great customers, making us feel like the luckiest folks every day at work. Tours that we have developed over the years include the Creole tour (our culture and history ride), the culinary bike ride that eats its way through 4 local restaurants, the history of drinking tour (which is exactly what it sounds like) and our Ninth Ward Tour that shares the story of the rebuilding and why it was so important to us. The rides are relaxed, with plenty of time to ask questions, and a stop along the way at a neighborhood bar on our Creole tour where you can find out all you want about local life while drinking a delicious Bloody Mary, if you like (water or nothing are also fine choices). All tours have one speed, slow. Call or email us, we don't use computer booking...old fashioned is how we roll on wheels and in the shop.

Danny was a great tour guide - friendly, fun, and he gave us a lot of history succinctly and in an enjoyable way. He was so very patient with me when I had to get used to my bike. He took us through neighborhoods that were not on the list of tourist things to do. In fact, we saw his own neighborhood and waved to his neighbors. The tour was great for our first day in town, and he helped with recommendations for restaurants and a safe place to view the inauguration. Thanks, Danny.

We selected the Creole History tour, and our guide Danny quickly set us up on our cruisers, then took us deep into the many neighbourhoods of New Orleans. Seemingly nondescript streets and intersections were revealed to have fascinating stories and historical significance. The bike route was flat and leisurely, with stops along the way at Crescent Park and a local neighbourhood pub. NOLA tourism is slowly coming back in the age of COVID, and the best way to support it is to participate in local organizations like these! Thanks again to CoC for an amazing day. When we come back, we'll definitely try the food tour!

I can’t say enough! We loved everything about this tour. Our guide made this bike ride the highlight of our NOLO trip. He loves the city so much and it shows. We learned a ton about everything from the history of the city, the architecture of the homes, the culture of it’s residents and so much more. The hubs and I have been googling various nuggets about the hoods we cruised even since. The magic was our tour guide Danny. So personable, friendly and funny. We instantly felt like we were hanging out with a super smart old friend. Didn’t want it to end. Can’t wait to return and do one of the other tour offerings!
