About
Ride with us through the New Orleans neighborhoods we live in with the cities original and oldest bike tour company. It’s been over 11 years of great tours and great customers, making us feel like the luckiest folks every day at work. Tours that we have developed over the years include the Creole tour (our culture and history ride), the culinary bike ride that eats its way through 4 local restaurants, the history of drinking tour (which is exactly what it sounds like) and our Ninth Ward Tour that shares the story of the rebuilding and why it was so important to us. The rides are relaxed, with plenty of time to ask questions, and a stop along the way at a neighborhood bar on our Creole tour where you can find out all you want about local life while drinking a delicious Bloody Mary, if you like (water or nothing are also fine choices). All tours have one speed, slow. Call or email us, we don't use computer booking...old fashioned is how we roll on wheels and in the shop.

We had an awesome ride with Danny! He took us through places and neighborhoods we never would have found on our own. He was super knowledgeable about New Orleans history and culture. Will 100% do another ride with this company whenever we're back.

Exceptional! Danny was a great ride leader and aficionado of history and local culture. We were treated like kings (and queens). We did the cocktail tour and the drinks were fantastic and ride route perfect for the experience. We met other locals on the tour and conversing with them and learning of their personal history was special. Danny gave us a list of other sights, eats, music suggestions which we did later in our trip. He did not steer us wrong. We visited other locales that we would have otherwise not known about. Danny was primarily the reason why the ride was so successful. Very relaxing but moving from stop to stop was paced perfectly. This is the second tour we've taken from Confederacy and can't wait to return again.

What a great, great, great, great experience. The pace was splendid, the sites were enthralling, the history engaging, and Danny was amazing! Anything more? Yeah, it was great!

This is the third time I've taken a bike tour with this company and it never disappoints. Always a pleasure, so fun, you learn a ton, and have the best time ever!

Danny took us on a great ride, with lots of local color and great stories. He's a mardi gras hound who loves his city, and it really made for a special experience. Bikes are a good way to get around the less-touristed parts of the Marigny and Bywater areas, and we were so happy to get a guided tour to more remote and less-visted places. I'd do this again in a heartbeat.

My husband and I love this company. All of their bike tours are amazing! We did the Cocktail tour with Danny this time and we loved it! Fun stops with history and cocktails in a fun bike! We started with a true daiquiri, then to the river front for a local view and a great view of the Mississippi. Next we went to The Napoleon House for a Pimm’s Cup. Filled by a frozen coffee and ended at Marie’s local bar in the Marginy. Each time we do this tour there will a always something new! Thanks so much for offering such a fun tour! Such a great company!!!!

We arrived at the location and were warmly greeted by our guide, Danny. We had communicated via email prior to our travel to the area, and chose a Creole history tour. We were introduced to another couple joining us on the ride and received a "bike fitting" as well as "rules of the road" instructions for the ride. Danny began the trip with a description of the areas we would be traveling through and stopped periodically throughout the ride to add history and anecdotes about the areas, which were all new to us. Danny knows his history of N.O. and made the lessons quite interesting. I highly recommend the tour as it was a great way to hear and see the history of the area. The 5.2 mile ride was never difficult (flat) and Danny was quick to point out rough road surfaces or and hazards along the way. Additional tours are offered and we may utilize their services on a future trip to the area.

My family did the culinary tour with Jeff and we had a great time. He was great about keeping track of our various crazy food restrictions and modifying orders to accommodate. He's a great ambassador for New Orleans, telling us many interesting stories from a native's perspective. Would highly recommend!

My husband and I have gone on two tours with Confederacy of Cruisers -- the culinary tour and the Creole tour -- and we loved both! The tour guides are knowledgable, friendly, funny, and show great hospitality and love for their city. Highly recommend.
