First only two of us were in the group that morning. I think the heat may have chased others away. Not only was our guide well versed in the area but he also lived very close by. This helped with his knowledge of the Garden...More
loved my experience on our Garden District walk! We had a great time listening to our guide Bruce. He provided us with so much knowledge about the rich history in the Garden District. Our tour group met in David Spielman Gallery in the cool air...More
We showed up promptly for our two-hour walk around the Garden District and our guide was ready. The great news was that it was just the two of us. The guide was great - history mixed with interesting anecdotes and some interesting architectural history. Really...More
Well-paced and lively, great sense of humor and plenty of history to go around. We loved it! Was recommended by our B&B host and it was well worth it. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting New Orleans--it was one of the highlights of our trip.
Excellent tour- worth the trip to that area Frank Currie was our Tour guide and was very knowledgeable and friendly - I recommend you book this early in the day due to heat and definitely take water and a camera - and of course comfortable...More

Thanks for you nice words and recommendation! We want to be a small and personal tour company, introducing people to one of America's most interesting neighborhoods.
All the best,
Months before my visit to New Orleans I did lots of research looking at different tour companies, I finally decided to book with Garden District Walks Nola to see Lafayette Cemetery #1 and the Garden District and I'm so happy that I did.

Thanks for your kind words. You have captured what we are trying to do. Small, personal and I must brag, I think our guides are the very best. We deal with the history and facts, we don't and won't make stuff up. Sorry to report...More
This tour is very informative in a friendly setting. The two hour tour just breezed by and we had a lot of fun. The tour takes 6 people at once the most and for just $5 more per person I highly recommend this tour rather...More
Head to the Garden District for the full-on New Orleans experience replete with quaintly clanking streetcars, proudly grandiose antebellum mansions, picture perfect avenues lined with live oaks loaded down with Spanish moss, and a wealth of beautiful churches and many more architectural marvels. Even a brief excursion here makes plain why it’s called the Garden District. So, when you visit be sure to give
yourself ample time for admiration at a languidly slow pace befitting such gentile strand of riverside living and to allow you to maximize each opportunity to stop and smell the roses – and whichever other blooms you might come across. While taking it all in, you’d do well to dine at one of the city’s most beloved destinations for regional cuisine. Gourmands from far and wide (and right round the corner) swear the age-old Commander’s Palace is the best restaurant in town – and have been doing so since it opened back in 1880.
