Being new to LA and with limited time to see anything outside New Orleans, we decided on a day trip to visit the Bayou and a couple of plantations. We chose the Swap/Plantation Tour with the airboat option. It was not cheap, but in the end worth the investment. The airboat was a bit of a disappointment, since we did... More

Four of us took the Grand Tour today and it was great. We feared the trip would be cancelled due to a cold & rainy forecast; and the Swamp tour was changed to the end of the day instead of the beginning which worked perfectly. We had heavy rain while on the way to Laura Plantation and a beautiful day... More

The half day tour combination of the Destrehan Plantation and the air-boat tour was the perfect tour for people who want to experience as much as they can with a limited amount of time. Tours by Isabelle was extremely accommodating and was so easy to book with and Giselle was an excellent guide whom it was lovely to spend a... More

My husband and I took the Oak Alley and Laura Plantation Tour and we had the best tour guide- Gene Reyes. He was very knowledgeable. We definitely recommend this tour.

This is my fourth visit to the vibrant and unique city of New Orleans, so I have taken many tours already and am starting to get to know the city better. I love it so much that our family vacation this year (7 adults - a family, not "friends" as I had to select below from limited selections) was for... More

Swamp tour was informative and fun. Oak Alley was also a very good although we'd been there before... the local guide was very good. Laura Plantation was really tops... our guide Steven was stellar and smart as a whip. It is so great to see an historic not-for-profit do such fabulous research on the lives of the plantation's slaves as... More

Our tour guide was prompt picking us up at the hotel. She was very informative and you could see she enjoyed her job. Even though the second plantation was more extravagant I really enjoyed the Laura Plantation. It was rich in history and the tour guide there loved her work, was proud of the heritage represented, and was well versed... More

I went on the full-day tour which included a swamp tour, tours to two plantations and lunch at Oak Alley Plantation. It also included hotel pick-up. Niji was our tour guide/driver. Excellent experience. I have traveled widely, but this was my first trip to Louisiana/the deep south and I only had a vague familiarity with the region. During the drive... More

We were picked up by our very knowledgeable guide, Billie, and driven outside the city to where our air boat tour was. Our boat guide Rodney was fantastic, very knowledgeable about the animals, birds and plants. Loved flying down the canals looking for alligators. The airboat was our favorite experience of all in New Orleans. Our tour continued to the... More
