Another tour company cancelled on us on our last day in town, so I started calling others, trying to get my husband and I on plantation tours like we had planned on doing today. Tours by Isabelle saved the day and secured us the last two spots in Billy's group, heading out to Laura and Oak Alley. We had a... More

Awesome tour! Billy was a great tour guide who went above & beyond to give us awesome information! We did the plantation tour on a busy Friday during Mardi Gras. He drove through a lot of back roads to return us to our hotels & continued to give us a lot of information & history of the area! Thank you... More

We went on the full day swamp and plantation tour. Every moment was very informative. Our tour guide, Gina, from Tours by Isabelle, filled our drive with so many facts and background information; not a moment wasted. My twelve year old daughter thought this was the best and most interesting part. My ten year old son loved the whole experience.... More

We took a tour to Laura and Oak Alley Plantations. It was a great trip, largely due to our wonderful driver, Carl Chauvin. From Carl, we learned so much about the history and culture of New Orleans and Louisiana. He even taught us how to make gumbo while driving to the plantations! Once at the plantations, you are turned over... More

This airboat tour was the highlight of our trip! Not only were we picked up from our hotel at 9am on the dot, the trip down to the dock was only about 25-30 minutes. The tour supplied rain gear just in case and our tour guide on the airboat was interesting and knowledgable. Learned so much about the area and... More

This was an outstanding tour. The first, St. Joseph, was a working sugar plantation in the family for generations. We learned the sugar cane process and about the family, which came post slavery. The second, Whitney, was very intense as It tells the story of the slaves on Whitney and in Louisiana. I thought I knew a lot about it... More

We enjoyed this tour very much and learned quite a bit about the New Orleans flooding. Our guide was very pleasant and the trip even went long because of traffic and road conditions.

The airboat ride was one of the best parts of our trip to New Orleans. Tours by Isabelle arranged everything, so all we had to do was show up and enjoy! Our tour guide was fantastic. We didn't get to hold a baby alligator like some groups, but he made up for it with funny stories, information about the alligators... More
