Highly recommend! This brewery is a short walk from the NOLA museum of art and it was a great way to end the night. They have a wide variety of beers and seltzers. They also had food when we were there from a local eatery that was delicious.

Popped into Second Line to pick up some packaged beer. Saw a few friends who I haven't seen since my LSU days. We picked up right where we left off. The beer was excellent and the atmosphere was perfect. They have the best music play list. I had the WC IPA and the MSY. Both excellent beers. I highly recommend stopping in for a beer and checking out the scene.

This place is awesome! It's a nice little neighborhood brewery. Lots of outdoor seating. The beers are good, the community is even better. It's a great place to meet friends and hang out with other Mid City folks!

We used to go here to relax and unwind. Now this place is like a Chuck E. Cheese with alcohol. 4 legged friends, ok. But infants, toddlers, young kids should not be here. It’s a BAR people. One guy asked his kid which beer he should get. Seriously, are you setting these kids up to be alcoholics and participate in underage drinking? There is a bouncy house with screaming and yelling. Kids bouncing balls in the courtyard knocking over drinks. Not a good place to relax. Did I mention that they get in their cars and drive drunk with children in tow? We walk or cycle here. But not anymore.

We stopped here to grab some beers before a boat ride through city park-just wanted to get a go-beer or 6-pack. We left with a 6-pack of amazing craft beer (mix and match) for only $8.50!!! The place was super chill and I would have liked to hang out there (next time!). The beers were very yummy. It’s in a sort of obscure place, but definitely worth a stop if you’re a craft beer lover and want to try something local.

Second Line Brewing located in the Mid City section of The Big Easy is nice escape from the craziness of the Vieux Carre. It is a short walk from the trolley stops in Mid City. The taproom is comfortable with patio seating in the front of the property. There is also two levels of seating inside the building. The upper level is next to the brewing equipment. The beer is excellent. I did a flight of 4 beers. They were all delicious. The chocolate cherry porter was my favorite. The hoppy porter, cherry wheat IPA and RT 47 IPA were very satisfying with lots of character. They also have popcorn which is also a treat. Stop by for a nice relaxing non Bourbon Street activity.

We really liked the set up of this craft brewery. They have limited selection for beer but what they have was worth the walk. Wish we would have had time to stay as they had Brazilian dancing and a food tent being set up for later in the afternoon. It is kid and dog friendly as well. Love the merchandise but wish they would have had a glass growler for us crazy tourists to take home.

Stopped in on a steamy September Saturday afternoon. Beer was great, location was chill. Note, there is no A.C. so if it is hot you will be as well.

We discovered this while riding Blue Bikes along the trail, so we stopped for a beer. Lots of families with 4- and 2-legged children of varying ages were enjoying the patio. The brewery even has a rack of toys and games out there. Next time we'll bring the dogs, because they seemed to be having a great time, too!

I don't have kids, but I have friends who have small children, so I always notice when a place has options to keep the kids entertained. This brewery has a nice, family-friendly, neighborhood vibe, so if you're already in the area (City Park/B&B, etc.) it's a nice place to spend a while to relax and recover from your day. There's no food sold on premises, but there's a food truck nearby. I do wish that there had been an option for the gluten-free--cider or root beer (or just keep a basic white wine in the cooler?), any of which would have been a welcome refresher, but the water was free, the weather was fine, and my husband and my father thoroughly enjoyed their selections--the blond and the ka-kow (a very dark, chocolatey stout). They had previously sampled the blond, the New England IPA, and the West Coast IPA at the nearby B&B where we were staying, where we met the brewery's rep because her parents were also staying at the B&B.
