Staff is super helpful with renting and getting in! We used bright blue sparkly paddle boat and lucked out because a canopy was available! You can see Vilas Beach and downtown from the lake, which was free of power boats!

I grew up around the area in the Regent neighborhood. This lake is very enjoyable during the warmer months and a few minute walk to various restaurants and shops on Monroe Street!

With plenty of boat options, stand up paddle boards, and reasonable prices, this place is certainly worth checking out. Go earlier in the morning to avoid the crowds. This is what we did and because the lake was so quiet we were able to quietly...More

Paddle boarding and kayaking was awesome on lake wingra. Lake just big enough to get away, but small enough to keep shore in sight at all times. Staff super friendly, prices very reasonable.

This is a nice small lake to paddle around. You feel removed from the city a bit as it's surrounded by trees and a small college. Easy paddling, but lots of weeds late in the season. Spent about 2 hours going around the whole lake....More
