We love Wingra Boats, the last time we went our 8 year old got his own kayak and made so many memories. He paddled, with our help he swam, our 5 year old jumped in as well. Checking in, checking out is absolutely a lake breeze.

Very organized to operate a business during the pandemic. Check in is set up with social distancing in mind, the online reservation asks people to confirm they will wear masks and only share boats with members of the same household. Everything is sanitized including the pens you sign in with. Staff are provided face shields. Very responsible.

We love Wingra Boats and have had a season membership for several years. The staff is helpful, fun and polite. This year they have put a lot of thought and effort into keeping their customers and staff safe during this period of Covid-19. With online booking, stations set up for social distancing, and cleaning protocols for all the equipment, I felt much safer getting out on the lake than I do grocery shopping!

We have used Wingra Boats for years, and this is our second season as members. I was a little nervous about how the experience would be given COVID-19 concerns and precautions. They have done an excellent job of modifying the rental process to be as safe as possible. We booked online easily, there is a socially distanced cue, and staff were helpful in keeping it moving while keeping everyone at a distance from each other. There was a hand-washing station, life preservers and paddles are sanitized in between uses, and the staff wore masks and face shields. I'm looking forward to doing it again!

Wingra Boats has a number of smart safety procedures. When I visited on Memorial Day weekend, the staff and customers were all wearing masks, washing hands, keeping a safe distance and being very respectful of others. All the equipment was sanitized between uses. I was impressed!

Once on the water it was so easy to drift off into the natural beauty of Lake Wingra. I know that renting from Wingra Boats is going to help me stay happy and active this summer.

Super easy to book online, show up and go. Helpful staff and good equipment. Love Lake Wingra with no motors! Where else can you hear Sandhill cranes and lions at the zoo?

Have been renting here for years. The setup is well thought out, all rental reservation is online and upon arrival there are station to wait at and plenty of opportunities to wash hands, etc. All staff is wearing shields. I only wish all patrons were considerate enough to wear masks to protect staff and other people around them. Unfortunately not everyone feels this way!! Still great experience at beautiful Lake Wingra.

I've been a member for 7 years. I love Wingra Boats - from the wonderful kayaks, SUPs, peddle boats and canoes to the fabulous staff to the beautiful lake and surrounding park - Wingra Boats is where I spend most of my summer. The staff have done a phenomenal job regarding social distancing measures as well.

I’ve rented paddle boards and kayaks so far this season at Wingra Boats. I’ve found their modified check in & reservation process due to COVID to be very thorough. You have to reserve your boat and pay online to minimize close contact. They have set up stations to wait in line 6 feet apart while you wait to get on the water. There are hand washing stations and they sanitize the boats and paddles between every wash. They ask that you wear a mask before you get on the water. So happy that Wingra boars has been able to stay open this summer!!!!

Wingra Boats operates with the utmost professionalism. They've really thought through how to make the whole process safe even during the pandemic. Just order online, show up, and follow the signs to get on the water and have a blast.
