We only had a short time to spend in Madison and enjoyed spending an hour strolling through this museum. They had some good little activities to engage children in at least 2 of the rooms and a warning of inappropriate content for children for one exhibit. Impressive displays.

The exhibit I viewed with my children was well done, but only one of the three exhibits shown were appropriate for children...which is fine during the school year, but you would think when families are spending time together there would be exhibits they could all enjoy together.

I've stopped in several times and perused MMCA's yawn-inducing displays of whatever garbage they've thrown together. It's like going to a craft stand most of the time, with bad landscapes or cheap traveling exhibits. I can't believe this passes as contemporary, because I've never once seen anything remotely cutting edge or modern here. It's a beautiful building though, and what... More

I didn't have enough time to truly appreciate the entire museum, but I liked much of what I saw, both architecturally and the art on display. Staff members are friendly and helpful. The quality of the art varies, but some of it is quite good for a small city's museum.

Claire Stigliani: Half-Sick of Shadows was on exhibit and we all loved it. We are all very different in age and views but were all able to find something me liked. The museum is well set up. The only downside is several people walked through the museum and were distespectful.

We happened in for all the first Friday options at MMoCA. Drinks on the rooftop before the artist talk by Claire Stigliani. Her work and her words were an inspiration. Accessible and thought provoking. Must see MMoCA!

Most of this museum is shut right now except for the exhibit above. It was incredible, really next level art.

MMoCA is a beautiful representation of what a gallery should be. It brings artists from all over the world. A great experience!
