Public park with lots of open areas, plenty of parking, a small beach that looked pretty clean & lots of pier space to watch boats, people or just vegg out.

Great park in the city. It has a beach, playground, picnic tables, a pond for ice skating in the winter. It also has a locks for boats to pass from Lakes Mendota to Monona. What's not to like? A park for everyone.
