We enjoyed the art show and food here for a free event. It's also fun to watch the boats go through the locks from one lake to another.

Public park with lots of open areas, plenty of parking, a small beach that looked pretty clean & lots of pier space to watch boats, people or just vegg out. I bet this is a gorgeous place to be at sunset!

I have loved Tenney for years. I've taken kids ice skating here and I've attended weddings here. The park is beautiful, spacious and has plenty for you to do.

Tenney Park is the city's most romantic ice skating spot, followed closely by Vilas Park. Bring your skates to the warming house, leave your boots, and enjoy a beautiful winter afternoon. All it needs is Tchaikovsky playing on a sound system and it would be...More

A beautiful little park with plenty of water. Excellent skating in the winter and good tennis courts in the summer. Great place to rent the building for family/work picnics.

Great park in the city. It has a beach, playground, picnic tables, a pond for ice skating in the winter. It also has a locks for boats to pass from Lakes Mendota to Monona. What's not to like? A park for everyone.

This park, about 40 or 50 acres in area, with winding lagoons and classic stone bridges, offers areas for walking, picnicking, playing ball and, in the winter, a full ice skating opportunity, complete with a warming house and skate rentals. Historically, this land is said...More

We enjoy going to Tenney Park for the ice skating in the winter. They have a warming house for renting skates and...warming. But we bring our own skates. Parking can be tough on good winter days. Great opportunities for skating pics. The kids have fun...More

Lots of water sports readily available. The lake is big enough for lots of water sports. Wind sailing and kite sailer were both prevalent. There is lots of green space for seating, picnics, frisbee, etc. There is a small beach for swimming and lots of...More
