Small Sandy Beach for swimming, lots of ducks and hike/bike path. This is a serene place that's magical on a sunny day. It would be a perfect picnic spot.

I drove seven hours to get to Tenney Park this winter to ice skate and it was worth it! Good rental skates in the warming house, and a warm fire. The lights come on after dusk and it's magical skating across the lagoon and under...More

Took a walk with the fam here during a nice winter weekend. Tried to get the kiddo out on a sled, but slow was minimal. Hope to get out again soon!

Although it can be cold, a walk through Tenney park an out to the pier in the winter is worth it! You can ice skate if the pond is frozen. Sunset is also a perfect time to visit to watch the geese and see the...More

Such a pretty little park. I love the bridges over the marsh areas. Winter skating is fun too. Such a pretty venue.

Tenney Park located on Madison's near East side is a peaceful retreat on Lake Mendota. It's within a quiet, clean and quaint older neighborhood where neighbors still raise their flags on front lawns and wave at strangers.

This is a favorite park in town since it has a great walking bridge with a beautiful reflection and a fantastic place to go ice skating in the winter.

We enjoyed the art show and food here for a free event. It's also fun to watch the boats go through the locks from one lake to another.

Public park with lots of open areas, plenty of parking, a small beach that looked pretty clean & lots of pier space to watch boats, people or just vegg out. I bet this is a gorgeous place to be at sunset!

I have loved Tenney for years. I've taken kids ice skating here and I've attended weddings here. The park is beautiful, spacious and has plenty for you to do.
