This is a great tour for Madison residents and visitors to Madison. We stopped at seven iconic Madison food destinations, so it's a great place to bring your out-of-town guests. We hit so many of Madison's highlights in one afternoon; I couldn't have planned it better myself! I learned a ton about the Madison's history, architecture, and the food scene,... More

Madison Food Explorers is the perfect way to see the city, and try some unique, tasty eats along the way. We walked from lake to lake, getting all the goodness the isthmus has to offer at each stop. I loved learning about the Frank Lloyd Wright history, as well as hearing fun Wisco-only facts during the tour. Erica was super... More

We went on the Lake to Lake Saturday tour and absolutely loved it. Our guide, Erica, is a font of knowledge about food and Wisconsin history and architecture. Even though we live in Madison we learned more about our city on each stop. The food choices were great and carefully chosen to represent Madison. We saw so much in three... More

My friend and I had a great time on the Happy Hour tour with our guide, Erica. Not only did we get to sample some great food and enjoy delicious drinks, but we also got to learn a bit more about the city we call home. I loved learning about the neighborhoods around the Capitol that I walk through each... More

We really enjoyed the food tour. There was enough history to make it interesting and yet not too much. The food stops were great, the only thing that was not perfect was, didn't have enough room for all the food and beverages. Our tour guide "Kim" was great. Enjoyed walking through downtown Madison around the square area, and the stops.... More

This was the second time our work group did this specific tour and our guide, Erica, was fantastic. The restaurant choices were ones I have never been to and the food was delicious. Erica also took us around the neighborhood and her knowledge of the history and background is intriguing and very appreciated.

We had a great time on the Food explorers tour. The Heritage Tavern was probably our favorite (and first) stop. We really enjoyed the random facts and history of Madison. Neither of us are from Madison so there's a lot we don't know and it was very interesting. We booked this seeing that it was 1-1.5 miles thinking that wouldn't... More

Included stops at great establishments to sample some excellent local food, drink & 'treats', educational segments and a walk between the the lakes of Madison, on a beautiful afternoon. After living in Wisconsin my whole life, I learned things about our Capitol & our state I had never heard! Would recommend this... More

Had some downtime on a recent business trip and decided to try out the Food Explorers. It was a great decision as I was able to learn some history, have some unique food, and get the inside scoop for downtown Madison. I fairly flexible tour, our guide made the experience specifically for our group highlighting food, attractions, and history our... More
