My husband and I took the Lake-to-Lake tour on Oct. 5, 2019, and we had a great time. It was a rainy day, but it was the only time we were available, and Erica was willing to do the tour despite the rain, making adjustments as we went so that we never got drenched. Although we've lived in Madison for a while, Erica taught us a lot about the history of the buildings and the origins of downtown Madison. The food, of course, was amazing, and we got to try some places we hadn't been before, and some new food at places we had been. I highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to know more about Madison and its food, whether you live here or are visiting.

Our family has lived in Wisconsin for awhile but never really explored Madison. I happened upon Madison Food Explorers while googling things to do in Madison. Our whole family is glad I did! Erica was awesome! She was so nice AND knowledgeable. She has the perfect mix of fun and Madison history. The tour is EXTREMELY well organized. Each stop is perfectly timed. Erica even calls ahead on the food stops so the food is ready and waiting and there is not a bunch of time sitting around waiting. My whole family (including two hard to please teenagers) would highly recommend!

I went on the Lake to Lake food tour with a couple of friends. It was a very pleasant way to spend a Saturday afternoon. There was a nice blend of historical facts with some shops in the area that I'll definitely be visiting again in the future.

Had a really nice tour guide who was knowledgeable about the area. There was two in my group and for others so it was a nice size. The empanadas at the first stop we’re not very exciting. The cheese sampling place was nice and had a good variety. The macaroni and cheese pizza was good and the mango drink we had was really good. Overall it was a good time and at the end we had two scoops of ice cream.

Erica was a delight as a tour guide. Very knowledgeable about architecture and history of the Downtown area and very gracious and accommodating (I made my friend and I late, sad face). Our three stops had great food, wine and friendly personnel. Would definitely recommend.
