Dated figures, but new stuff for history buffs.

The actual wax museum part of this place is pretty dated. I've been a few times and they haven't changed much. But what is very interesting is the new exhibit on the history of... read more

Let me begin by saying that I have never rated anything "terrible"....till now. Over the last thirty years, I have visited this museum on three occasions, the last just a few days ago. And honestly, it looks EXACTLY the same - no updates with only additional layers of dust the only change. This museum is dreadfully outdated. The exhibits are... More

The actual wax museum part of this place is pretty dated. I've been a few times and they haven't changed much. But what is very interesting is the new exhibit on the history of Hot Springs. They have several areas showing casino memorabilia and news stories from when Hot Springs was home to lots of gangsters (like Al Capone). The... More

Nearly exactly the same as it was 12 years ago when we visited last. Overpriced for what it is. Save your money and go to the 4D experience next door.

Wax museums are interesting and if you've never been, you will find this to be the case. If you've ever been to one before, you will be disappointed in this one. Thankfully, we got the discounted tickets because we purchased the DUCK tour, otherwise, we would not have gone in. It did have a lot of interesting casino history in... More

Build has serious maintenance issues. The hand rail come off mounts when grabbing. Whom ever dressed figures must just missed a lot of details to hide wax seems. They keep most area poor lit or figure so far away you can't see how bad condition. I am pretty sure this is where wax figure go to die

The wax museum is located in an old casino. There is a lot of history inside this place. The wax figures are some good some not. What makes this attraction special is what it was and who visited there.Well worth visiting.

When my friend and I visited back in July 2015 the place seemed dated and the wax figures did not seem very realistic. You can not really interact with the figures like other wax museums because a handful of them are behind glass. It did not take us very long to go through it maybe 30 minutes but, if you... More

We had a fun time it was small and had some very neat things to see and some history about gambling. A little rundown but definitely worth the visit especially if you buy the combo ticket with duck tours

My scouts chose to go to the wax museum so we went. I was excited because I had never been to a wax museum. However, I was a little disappointed in the upkeep of the figures/displays. It seemed as though not enough care or attention is given after they have been there for a while (meaning not dusted or hair... More

This is OK, but some of the attractions were a bit non lifelike. If you want something to do while downtown and to get in from the heat, this is fun. Plus you can get a combo pack of tickets for other attractions in the same area if you want.
