What an awesome experience. It sucks that Austin, TX doesn't have a mineral bath spa to enjoy like Buckstaff. The massage put in a place of deep relax. This was heaven on earth! Loved it so very much.

I'd been to the historic spa at Berkeley Springs, WV, but Hot Springs, AR, really tops it. It is interesting to experience the traditions that people have been experiencing since the 1800s and to take the waters that people have been enjoying for thousands of...More

If you've never "taken the bath" before (we hadn't) then you owe it to yourself to give this a shot for a couple of hours. Take the tour and get a feel for how this bathhouse operated "way back when" and then sign up for...More

We had a great experience at Buckstaff Bathouse- really neat to know you were in the same place as they did the spa treatments over 100 years ago

People travel from all around to experience the thermal baths so why not ! there are several bath houses and i am sure each would be an equally enjoyable experience , but for the most authentic and continuously operating bathhouse the Buckstaff is the choice!...More

The Buckstaff is just a short walk from the Visitors Center for the Hot Springs National Park. I highly recommend taking advantage of an hour and a half for the Traditional Spa package here. It's inexpensive, yet top quality. The attendants are very professional. This...More

Visited here with a girlfriend and did the deluxe spa package. There were very few visitors so it felt as if I was being catered too. LaToya was very attentive and made sure everything was safe. Lena gave an excellent, relaxing massage. Would definitely go...More

Yes, there is an elevator. There are also some ramps. The largest question I see is how are you going to get in and out of a large bath tub? I recommend you call them at 501-623-2308. If you are male, it is on "street... More

My understanding is the Buckstaff follows tradition and ladies with the ladies and men with men. This place is nice and I believe you will enjoy the traditional experience.
