We loved every moment of our stay from our easy check-in with friendly staff to the beautiful hiking trails. Our cabin was warm and cozy and had a beautiful view with a fully stocked kitchen. My only complaint would be that the bathroom was not as clean as I would have liked. Overall, I would highly recommend to anyone and... More

This hike is long but there is a short cut for those with children. Wanted to see the waterfall but due to dry weather it was a trickle however the pool of water at the base of the fall was cold and inviting. Stop at visitor center for park for short cut.

I have been to this place many times over the past few years. I have hiked on all the trails. The lake is very clean and pretty. The timber is primarily southern hardwoods with some pines. Many of the structures at the park were built back in the 1930's by the CCC boys. This past January, my wife and a... More

We were there in Oct. 16 with the intent to fall foliage. We were a little too early for that but the park was lovely. There had been no rain for the past couple of months so the waterfall was not flowing. However, the hike was lovely. Peaceful. We got there early in the morning and were the first ones... More

My husband and I hiked to the falls for a picnic. The falls were more like a trickle now, but it was still peaceful and fun to hike.

Visited the park to get some exercise and to enjoy a natural setting. I hiked the Falls branch trail, which was described as the shortest and easiest. Essentials: good knees and good shoes. I wore light hiking boots and was happy that I had the sturdy soles and some ankle support. Wish I had: taken a hiking stick. There are... More

My wife and I come to this state park every year during the month of October. This is our fourth year in a row. We have already made reservations for next year, obviously we enjoy the park tremendously. If you catch the leaves right it is absolutely breathtaking in the fall. Needless to say we highly recommend this state park... More

Always a nice place to send time! There is camping, hiking, picnicking or just walking and enjoying the view. Great scenery year round and usually very peaceful!! Wonderful place for a day long visit or longer stay. A must see in Hot Springs area!

Very nice, clean state park. The trails are my favorite, especially the trail to the falls. The lake is a lot of fun too. Very easy to navigate.
