Nice park with beach area. Good camping sites and level pads. Good size camping areas. Not much shade for the campsites close to the lake. Took the falls hike. Nice walk, lots of shade and several water spots.

This is our favorite place to camp. The grounds are well maintained & the sites are beautiful. We chose site 32. The only downside is no true tent pad. Otherwise, perfect site right on the lake with a small public dock right next to us. The facilities are always clean.

Beautiful area. We were a little put off by the power plant across the lake but it is really not a big deal. Lots to do. We went kayaking and saw the waterfall for the water. It was a fun trip we will do again.

We hiked the trail to the falls which was labeled moderate. It looked like a simple loop to the lake but it is really up the hill and then down along steep slopes. There are bridges over stream beds and uneven stone stairs for many of the steepest parts. This would be an ideal hike for Cub Scout age kids.... More

If this power plant noise was gone this would be a perfect park. It is horrendous day and night. Parking alongside the US40 would be quieter. Crying shame as it is a beautiful spot..hike for the day but leave the noise behind...don't spend the night...true noise pollution here.

great walk to the falls, we found if follow the path to right, the hiking is enjoyable and challenging. the path to left which leads almost directly along the lake back to the falls is much shofrter and easier.

Even if you spent a week, you'd not run out of things to do or see!! Rent a boat, a cabin, tent, hike, horse back or bike in this scenic peace of heaven! Don't miss the waterfall and swimmers cove!

With three trails to follow starting at 2 miles or just a short cut to the bigger falls it makes for a pleasant day of just hiking. You can take the short cut along the lake edge if you just want to see the falls and take a swim. The lake is beautiful and the camp grounds are clean and... More
