Awesome lake experience. Water was clear and cool and very clean. Landscape was awesome and the lake was not crowded at all.

First time kayaking here and loved it. The lake and area was clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was a smooth day. We can not wait to go back.

Kayaking, boating, fishing, skiing.... get out there and do your favorite water sport of choice. The weekends get crowded so head out during the week if you can. If you have the money, rent a house boat for a few days. Peaceful, beautiful and serene.

Stopped here to tent camp one night on our trip. We got a spot right on the lake. They have tent pads made of small gravel. Easy set up and quickly drains the water after the rain. Swimming was nice. The water was so peaceful....More

Mountain Harbor Marina does have a pet friendly boat rental. However, I would call well in advance due to the July 4th holiday. They also have an awesome fireworks display each year too!

At most campgrounds, there are designated swimming areas, but if you are boating there are many islands with great beaches to swim. Just remember on Holiday weekend the campgrounds are almost always full. Best to reserve a... More
