Slightly more rustic than some other parks we have camped in, but that is what we were looking for. We chose to reserve a site online without electricity although there were other options available. Park staff were not present at the check-in location even during...More

French creek is our go to camping spot when we want to experience a worthwhile camping experience without traveling for hours (since we live outside of Philadelphia). There are many somewhat challenging and beautiful hikes that are easy to navigate given a map. We hiked...More

Camped here for one night prior to Memorial Day. Arrived just after 5pm so had to use the honor registration system. We didn't mind doing this and have used such registration methods frequently. However, the entrance gate had no campground maps and only a posted...More

A great Christmas camp out. Cabins are heated have great porches. Sleep four comfortably. The park is pretty quiet in the winter not a lot of people around which made it great for a relaxed time.

Great hiking trail system, well marked and challenging. No matter how many times I go here, I see something different! Great place!

This is a beautiful little park, and a must visit for nature lovers. Hiking, fishing or birdwatching. It has a wonderful camping area with a beautiful pool. Now that we have found this area we can't wait to bring our grandkids camping here!

If my memory serves me correctly you go directly to the cabins, as long as you get there at check in time and not early the cabins will be cleaned and ready for your stay, the keys will be inside. Have fun.
