Its a nice place in resemblance of Princess Viharamahadevi. Old Buddha statue was there. The Main priest will give a description about the historical value of the place if you request.

An ancient historical place dated to Kawan Thissa era (nearly 2000 years ago) and situated in Eastern Province in Sri Lanka. This temple is so close to Pothuvil beach and now see the ruins of "Seema Malaka" and "Sthupa".

antique and modern statues joining together on the large premises. A short walk upto the sandy dunes bring you on top of the hill where the stupa is built. From there you have a nice view over the sea. Large parkingspace, but very dirty, available
