This temple is located in the city of Nuwara Eliya. It is of great historical importance to all the hindus. Meghnath, the son of great King Ravana, used to perform worship in this temple. He performed the worship of Nikumbla devi in this place, before going to any war. As of today, there is a vishnu temple and durga mata temple. there is an additional temple of 108 shivlingams which is under construction. The energy level in the temple is unbelievable. Must visit if you are in Nuwara Eliya.

Gayathri Amman is the main deity and other deities are also there in this temple. It is situated in Nuwara Eliya and easily accessible. Shri Murugesu was a Gayathri Siddhar who is the founder of this temple. It is also believed that Meghanathan, son of King Ravana worshipped Lord Shiva here. We are informed that temple authorities are planning to install 108 Siva Linghas here.
