We have family background from this area and so I really enjoyed the museum. I think they did a good job of presenting a sense of history of the entire county in a small but historic building.

STOP and go inside to see the history of each town and see many period photos of Gage county. Workers there are so friendly and helpful. You must stop when in Beatrice, NE and then go to the Homestead National Monument.

Their web site says Wed - Saturday 10-4 but it also says spring and summer hours
