Nominated for designation as a UNESCO World Heritage site, Jatiluwih offers a beautiful view of contoured rice terraces irrigated using an impressive communal water system developed by Balinese farmers. The scenic drive through the quaint villages and verdant slopes of the central coastal regency of Tabanan adds to the experience.

I really recommend a peacefull walk around the rice fields. Lot of places to make a great photos. The only problem is that when we get there, the weather was not so good. Cloudy and windy. Dont' even try to have a lunch at "Billy's...More

The rice fields present a good view and you get a change to see this tradition lifestyle. But is a long drive so tie in a visit to other places - couple of temples shopping the way

Jatiluwih – scenic Rice Terrace” Visited the Jatiluwih rice terrace, which is a short distance away from the Tanah Lot temple. The roads have much improved over the years. This is probably the best rice terrace in Bali. As you travel from the Tanah Lot...More

Not much else to say other than a very picturesque and tranquil place to visit. Definitely worth a visit and plenty of homestays in the area

We visited this UNESCO Cultural Landscape and thoroughly enjoyed the wonderful views. The terraces are so manicured and there are so many of them. It is about an hour ride from Ubud and the roads are pretty narrow and wind up the mountain.

Still beautiful, but the peace and quiet is gone now that there are trekking trails and electric bike tours, etc. You can hardly walk through the terraces for all the people.

I visited a few rice fields in Bali and this one was the best. Compared to crowds of Tegalalang rice terraces in Ubud, you can be completely alone here - you just need to walk for a few minutes to leave all the crowds behind...More

Not too many tourists and not as commercialized as Tegallalang. Definitely bigger and better also. Took the short trekking route and it was definitely a relaxing getaway from the city or beach life in Bali.

Have visited this rice terrace yesterday, 16 of August. It is a very large rice terrace, unique landscape to watch from above. Feels like is a painting. If you like beautiful landscape then definitely visit.

Hi! The roads aren't great, maintenance is needed. However they can be used. I'm riding a motorcycle to and would compare riding these roads with a little Rally stage. Many potholes. Traffic on Bali is chaotic in general... More

There is a stall there, right opposite the rice fields where it has a sign that says it was featured in Lonely Planet. We tried the food and it was good. The fruit juice was especially good.
