Nominated for designation as a UNESCO World Heritage site, Jatiluwih offers a beautiful view of contoured rice terraces irrigated using an impressive communal water system developed by Balinese farmers. The stepped paddy fields makes an interesting sight. The paddy fields are not very big like we used to see in tropical areas. However, the steps are quite steep and the overall rice field is quite deep. You can go down and take a walk...More

It was a wonderful experience. Just to see the undulating rice fields, swaying in the breeze, spread out like a green carpet was a wonderful experience. I am glad to have been able to visit the heritage site.

We loved our visit to these rice terraces. Found it to be much more authentic than Tegallalang. You are allowed to drive your scooter on some paths instead of walking. Becareful of snakes.

Jatiluwih is stunningly beautiful. Definitely get out and walk around by following one of the three routes laid out by the village. We did the shortest one in just under an hour but it was enough to get a sense of the place. It's vast...More

Unfortunately the weather wasn't at its best during our visit, as I would loved to have seen the terraces under deep blue skies. Instead, the rather grey, dull background dampened our spirits but couldn't completely detract from the beauty of the rice terraces reaching far...More

This was excellent. There were other people but it's not very crowded. There are also a few walks you can take. We took the shortest (1.7km or so). There are a couple of longer walks if you are interested. We went there in the afternoon...More

I have visited a few rice paddies and terraces in Bali but this one is THE BEST! I highly recommend a visit and whilst you are there take the time to do one of the walks. There is a short loop that is only around...More

Beautiful endless rice fields with several walking paths of various distances. We did the shortest one that took less than an hour. The view was spectacular and there were only a few visitors in the late afternoon. A sight not to be missed.
