Small garden where the guide tells you how coffee is proccesed and shows you other ingredients. But if you know basics about the coffee process you won’t learn anything new.
They keep luwaks in cages - I don’t like it.
They also offer coffee and tea tasting for free, it was interesting but everything is with sugar and so sweet, it tastes very similar. They said it’s already prepared with sugar so you can’t have it without.
You can buy everything from the tasting menu in shop but it is really overpriced!!!

Stay away from this place. This is not a coffee plantation as they claim it’s simply someones back yard with a few coffee bushes and various other plants that they have over there.

If you look closely besides the 2 robusta and arabica bushes they have when you enter the place there is no coffee anywhere in sight, there are only rice plantations when you look down from the swing. Also thier shop sells at a very high price various types of coffee, tobacco and other stuff which you can find at any decent supermarket on the island. When i have asked where are the rest of the luwaks they are raising over there to make the luwak coffee they answered “they are sleeping in the jungle” ….when i ask were is the actul plantation since i wasn’t seeing coffee nowhere in sight the kid which was giving the tour simply did not answer.

Simply put it this is a tourist trap. The only reason i ended up in this place was because of our driver who recommended it (he is probably getting some kick back from the owner for this). After leaving and looking around i spoted another 3 places similar to this in just a few km. The next day a different driver that was taking us back to our hotel from our mount batour sunrise trekking tour said that we are going to stop at a coffee plantation be sure that it was the same sort of business some small garden with some coffee and other bushes and a few luwaks kept as pets for the tourists to take pictures with them.

This looks like a well organized scam all over the island. Be aware and do your homework before you visit so called “coffee planations” and stop feeding this dishnoest way of doing turism.

It was a nice place but what you will call a tourist trap. They will show you around in the lovely garden and maybe offer you tastings for free. You may feel obligated to buy some of their coffee or tee which are extremely overpriced which you only realize if you ask before you buy it. Also it is a small package and you have to use a lot of power to get a good taste.

Very nice and friendly staff. Took us through the garden and explained everything. We did tasting and what we tasted was amazing but what we bought from the shop was a scam. It was in a form if instant powder and not any different from a cheap version at supermarket.

Visited with the family while on a taxi drive. My wife noticed that they took the car reg when we arrived. I wonder if the drivers get a kick back for feeding unsuspecting tourists into this place?
We had an interesting 15 minute walk around the botanical garden, were offered (at extra cost) a try of the rope swing. Got to try some tea and coffee, some of which was delicious, and then bought a couple of bags of extremely overpriced product.
The staff were well drilled and pleasant, and at the moment I’m unsure whether the products we bought resemble in any way the products we sampled.
All in all I left thinking that we had been ripped off by a very well oiled little organisation.

Bought coconut coffee here after tasting it. Today i wanted to make a cup of coconut coffee at home and after pouring a lot of powder into the cup it still tastes watery and not even close to coffee or coconut.

Therefore i assume they sell trash.

We were taken here by our guide thinking we would see a coffee plantation. The minute we walked in we were taken on a tour of the garden and shown different plants that they used (ginger, ginseng, etc). The tour was nice and then we were ushered upstairs and given a menu. While the overall atmosphere is nice, I found the whole experience a little pushy....they kept asking us what we wanted to order or what we wanted to buy. When we said we didn’t want to order anything we were taken to the gift shop. It is nice and small but every step I took the staff followed me asking if I would buy anything. I ended up not getting anything because it was just too much pushing to buy. Also, the prices are overpriced for the area. I had three plays of food at a local restaurant for the price they were charging for a cup of tea.

I do not understand why people are so enthausiastic about this place, I only see ANIMAL ABUSE.

So first off you're like almost pulled out of the cab to get a forced tour around a pretty cute garden. They tell about the plants and the process untill you walk against the poor Luwak animals they put in SMALL CAGES in bright DAYLIGHT.

Only so people can look at them and keep disturbing them in their sleep they need during the day. They are Night animals they need to sleep in dark places. At night they go into the "jungle" which I haven't seen at all.

In their little restaurant you can even touch the animal which is poorly TIED TO A LEASH only to be touched by random people all day an being disturbed in it's sleep. The man who gave the tour also had to pet it really hard to proove us it doesn't bite. We didn't touch the poor creature.

The cherry on the icecream is their products are 4 times more expensive then on the markets. Plus the loads of sugar in their products. So start thinking and stop funding.

If you want this coffee think again and read yourself into it. Stop giving money to animal abusers.

On our way from Lovina to Ibud, dripped in for a quick coffee and ended up having the full garden tour and coffee/tea tasting. The garden tour had many types of fruit and herbs/spices that are all used in the coffee and tea blends. They also explained the luwak coffee process. There is a shop to buy the various types of coffee and tea and as we sit here discussing it, i am sure we are going to buy them all!

Very informative tour including learning about the luwak coffee process. Very educational including holding the luwak and swinging over a ravine. Tasting selection of coffee and teas afterwards with the opportunity to purchase. Quite pricey at 190K per packet of coffee but they have to make a living somehow!
