The package includes pick up from Denpasar, so the guide/driver Danu drove us for 3 hours to the boat point, passing by beautiful view of Bunyan lake. Once arrived, they gave the snorkel, goggle and fin. We crossed the sea for about 30-45 mins and then arrived at Menjangan island. Snorkel guide, Dika, gave quick lesson for those who havent done snorkeling before, then he took us to the snorkeling area. He gave do’s and dont’s as well like not to feed fish, careful of the corals etc. I can say it’s one of the beautiful place for snorkeling. We had rest and lunch on the island while being “watched” by the resident of the island, which is the deer (Menjangan meant deer in local language, hence the island name). Then we took a stroll to the temple in the island. Afterward, another snorkeling time to see nemo and baby nemo. Personal note: I gave my underwater camera to Dika, and he took amazing photos (he’s a diver as well, and he can do amazing thing while free diving). After we went back to the mainland of Bali, on the way back to Denpasar, Danu was very kindly to us by stopping over Ulan Danu temple.…

Hopping on the most rickity unroadworthy vehicle from Lovina to the boat we were thinking what have we done. But after getting to where the boat leaves and riding out to the island it left no doubt we were in for a treat. You could go diving or snorkelling. It is some of the best snorkelling I have ever done. So much fish life to see and tranquil clear water. Lunch on the shore of the Island was very good and even the deer life came for a visit. After lunch we snorkelled just off shore and it was amazing.. Went out about 50m and there was a huge drop off it was just like in the movie 'Finding Nemo" absolutely breathtaking.…

We did a tour of Bali trying to cover dive sites all over the Island. This dive trip was one of the best, with a great team of divers who took us to the site to dive. Also did some snorkeling.

We were a family some snorkeling for the first time and others experienced. For all, this was an amazing experience. The crystal clear waters held the very best snorkeling ever! It's a must if your travelling in Northern Bali.
