We've been here only for snorkelling. There's so much to see! Different fishes, different corals. Another couple even saw a seahorse! You can see pipe fishes, starfishes, big and small fihes, wrasses, lots of swarms. Everything close by. Lovely! (Use a wetsuit to prevent the sunburn of your life, like I had!)

The island is described as having some of the best snorkelling in Bali, but we were not impressed. The tour boats are destroying the habitat with their anchors, the guides do nothing to stop the visitors from stepping on the coral, and part of the time you swim through plastic garbage. There are definitely fish, about half of the coral... More

An incredible place to dive with clear water and loads of fish. The island is surrounded by coral creating an incredible drop off. If you like diving and want to check Bali out come to this island.

Great and wonderful. It was magic , saw so many beautiful corals and fish. Best snorkeling in Bali. Went with Bali diver. Great company, they were very concerned about security

I dive, my wife snorkels. We both had a great time with Ocean Dreams. The guides were expert and super friendly. They pointed out things we would never have seen on our own. They served lunch and drinks. We had a wonderful time.

We had such nice time snorkeling in Menjangan Island. This is a natural park surrounded by coral reef. It takes around 40' minutes by boat from main land. There are many diving spots around the island including very interesting caves. Depending on the wind and water conditions, they take you to the right spot. We hired a package of Rp... More

Menjangan is well worth a visit with extensive reef - shallow shelf on one side of the island and steep on the other so theirs a great variety of both coral and fish.

The island has nicer snorkeling area in the southern part where the water is cleaner. Although there is some damage on the corals there is still plenty colorful fish to enjoy. The northern side had some plastic trash which takes the ratings down however you will still see nice amount of fish and starfish there.

Mu suggestion would be to book a planned trip ahead or stay at one of the resort around. We stayed at Arjuna Homestay and they arranged for 2 sessions of snorkeling trips for our 7 and 12 year-old sons and us, and 2 diving sessions for our 15 year-old son. Lunch was provided and plenty of mineral water. The cleanliness... More

Second visit, and we loved the snorkelling! I saw two green turtles, two giant moray eels, a lion fish and a sea snake while snorkelling around the island this visit.
