Fresh morning market. Away from tourist crowd. No hassling and great atmosphere to meet local peoples and genuine spot if you would love to explore the real Balinese life.

came into the market around 630AM to see whats being sold, i think I saw everything from home made balinese sweets and snacks to all the produce which is being grown on the island, also some small time farmers are selling their products so you will see food which is not usually available in the shops. local fruits and vegetables which are unusual.
i took interest in the sate seller, fresh sate being cooked over the coles, served with spicy sambal or plain, cooked in front of you which is great.
i know some of the hotels in the region bring their guests here but I think if your staying in Ubud visiting here would be a great morning trip, in the evening only food stalls are available. final note, cooked food is 24 hours available market itself is every three days.
