There are tours of the courthouse and lots of quaint shops and restaurants on the square but, not much to see unless one is really into history.

A lovely downtown to visit. We road the trolley around and viewed the court house. A very nice place for a walk

This is a great place to stroll along the Independence Square where you'll find lots of good places to eat, Harry Trumans Courtroom in old Courthouse, antiques, coffee, and a mule-pulled schooner with fun stories of the Queen City in the 19th Century.

We like to go up and walk around and look in the shops, and maybe even see a movie. They have lots of wonderful places to eat lunch or dinner, but alot close at 5 or 6.

Nice quaint shopping area with a variety of specialty shops and restaurants. I have lived in the area my entire life and there always seems to be something fun happening on the square.

It's really all about harry Truman. Quaint little town. Neat facts about harry and his life. We missed his house tour because it was full. Don't miss it like we did,

It really is a square- businesses all around the perimeter. RV parking might present a challenge, depending on what day you are there.
