Tour was very informative with a humorous flare. There's so much information it gets difficult to hang on to it all. The mules were also friendly. Highly recommend this tour.

Had the pleasure of attending a ride along with Ralph and his mules Harry A. and Ed. I had originally booked a shorter tour but was offered a longer tour due to a mix up. Ralph was a wonderful tour guide explaining Independence history is great detail. I enjoyed learning about President Harry Truman and Bess, Civil War Battles, generals, and the many elements associated with the War, the conflict between Missouri and Kansas, the Outlaws Frank and Jesse James, and the 1000s of wagon trains heading West. The tour was amazing zigzagging throughout the downtown streets in a covered wagon. It is certainly worth hearing about the rich history contained within Independence with a fine storyteller.

I’ve been a Wild West buff for a while so having a chance to tour a pioneer area was pretty fun. The stories were informative.

Favorite part of our stay in independence. You'll learn a ton of things about the history of the area that you wouldn't have known without this tour. Our tour guide was was great.
