Always a Winner!

We have been going to Bali for many years and this spa is always outstanding. It is clean and has a nice feel. When you have a massage upstairs is really peaceful. And I've never had a bad massage here. However, my friend and I and her young daughter had a massage at a time when they were relatively busy so we were downstairs near the nail bar. It was not all that relaxing we could hear people coming and going from the front door throughout the whole hour and also the staff that did not have customers sat just outside our curtain for the duration and spoke well above their "Library Voices" for the whole hour. That was a bit disappointing. Price is great though at 95,000 R.

Wonderful massages

We walked past this spa in Legian and thought it look good so we went on for a foot pamper and it was great. All three of us loved it and we left will soft and massage feet after a long day of walking. We then immediately booked in for the hot stone massage and the coconut oil massage. Both of these were amazing and I would highly recommend. Great pricing and so cheap for a 60 minute massage.

Best massage in Bali

If you want to feel fully pampered at a great spa with friendly staff, clean salon and the best massage in Bali, La Karma is the place to go. We visited 3 times while we were in Bali and exceeded expectations every time. The prices are awesome, as well as the service and friendly staff. Definitely worth a visit, you won’t be disappointed 💆‍♀️

Recommended, always a reliable, consistent service for manicure, pedicures and massage. We've been coming here for a few years and have been pleased with every service I have had. I am going to take my own nail polish next time as it does chip sooner than I would like it too, particularly when I'm not doing house work. The team are very adept at all areas of massage, the manicures and pedicures are done with a lot of care.

Best massage ever

The reflexology massage was amazing! Haris was so strong and gave such a deep massage. Also had head, neck and shoulder massage. Definitely would recommend this place. Felt so looked after and all the staff wanted to help.

Waxing Nightmare!

Spa looked a little more upmarket compared to some others in the area. I booked for full leg and underarm wax. The staff member was clearly just learning. It took 1 1/2 hrs and I left with hairy legs and underarms. Staff lacking quality training, I think it was her first time. It was extremely painful. Very unprofessional with people constantly popping there heads in. I think maybe for a pedi mani it might be a good choice but I be warned of waxing.

Foot and leg massage

Clean, beautiful with great service, and super cheap.. 30 minutes and I was asleep! The biggest aspect was the cleanliness of the place. Clean and obviously well maintained everywhere you look.

I went into la Karma spa in Seminyak today . On recommendations from here. I am a trained and professional eyelash extensions tech , massage therapist and beauty therapist . I had my extensions done by Korma. She was totally professional each lash adhered perfectly. She was very gentle. Like a butterfly on my eyelids , what we are told when trained. I actually fell asleep which is highly unusual for me! The glue is very low odour , so no watering eyes. Not once I was stuck with the tweezers! Each lash perfectly placed. I have loose skin on my lower eye which is hard to attach eye shield. korma was very patient and did a fantastic job . I am a vey fussy person with high expectations , especially working in the field . I am 110% satisfied with the salon, staff, cleanliness and therapists. Listening to conversations while laying there. The salon was also very busy and staff when out of their way to accomodate everyone. My husband really enjoyed his massage. Highly recommend this salon and will be back again. You get what you pay for here in Bali an extra few dollars means better products and service . 💗💗💗💗 la Karma 💅🏻

Wouldn't come here again

I recently stayed in Legian & went to three spas and this was by far the worst. The place itself is lovely & clean with quality massage beds and chairs. I absolutely love the shabby shieke layout with gold bowls definitely 5/5 for cleanliness but that's as far as it goes.

The massage was absolutely terrible giving it a rating of two is being generous. I honestly have never wanted a massage to end so badly I came close to leaving. Firstly the massage worker told me to take off my clothes but there was no place to put them so they ended up on the floor. Then the massage began and she lifted my legs bent them from behind when I was lying on my stomach & pushed them to the back of my head. This caused me excruciating back pain all night. I have never had a massage where this has happened or caused me so much pain.

Mid way through my back getting massaged she just up & left didn't cover me up or anything. I lay for a bit then looked up to see what had happened and saw her behind the curtain on the other side next door & she was on her phone looked like she was texting,this happened not once but twice. Then someone came in mid massage and they had a long chat had a laugh which made me feel even more awkward & the other worker got her hand bag which was stowed under the massage bed.
To top off the massage I was wiped down all over with a cold towel (not sure if the hot water wasn't working) and I was not dried off I had to dry myself off with the oily sheet on the bed at the end.

I can see this place has some amazing potential from other reviews. It's just a shame my experience was so horrible.

Really Disappointed

After researching on I booked a massage package at La Karma because of the great reviews on TripAdvisor . I have to say how dissapointed I am with my package. Firstly for the prices charged (expensive by balinese standards) La Karsa is NOT a quiet & relaxing environment at all. The spa is just one room with clients booking in/inquiring about treatments along with staff constantly talking amongst themselves - no quiet environment for your relaxing expensive package😣😣
Then what really topped it off was my therapist continually talking about how little she earns & how hard she works/sore back/ how lucky I am financially etc all whilst I was trying to enjoy what I paid good $ for - I always tip generously for good service but in the end I felt I had to ignore her to get her to stop. Honestly I dont like giving such bad reviews but feel honesty is needed here.
Wouldnt recommend at all.
