I did the open water PADI diving course and it was absolutely amazing! The teachers are attentive and very motivated to teach you new skills !!! The quality of teaching and the enthousiasm of the staff brings your degree of satisfaction far beyond your expectations!!! Furthermore, they just opened and all of their material is BRAND NEW !!! Which is very important to my eyes for a sport like this, where the linke of risk is always close. I truly recomment this school and hope you will have the chance to be a part of this fabulous experience!!!

During my first week in Bali, I can recall walking down a street full of stores near my hostel. I recognised the PADI sign from afar and decided to step in. When I walked into the store I was greeted with a warm smile by the scuba diving instructor - Suhendra. He offered me a cup of tea and I was encouraged to take a seat to talk. We began discussing the courses available and I soon began to open up about all my fears and concerns about diving. Suhendra listened to each and every word I had to say (and I had a lot to say!). He didn't interrupt or belittle me by telling me "it's just water" but instead he comforted me by telling me his own struggles when he first dealt with his fears with the ocean. Suhendra gave me the hope I needed to believe that diving in the ocean was something I really could achieve so it wasn't long until I booked both the Discover Scuba Diving (definitely recommend if you're a bit nervous or unsure about diving!) and Open Water Diver course. I felt so at ease around with him that I paid extra for a 1 to 1 and insisted that I had him as my teacher. During the Open Water course, Suhendra was very encouraging. He gave me his "old man tricks" which were his own simplified tricks and tips on how to remember certain things! Suhendra was more than a scuba diving instruction - he knows how to empathise with his students whilst injecting a bit of lighthearted humour and infectious enthusiasm into his teachings - a sign of a great teacher. Being a novice to diving I remember being quite slow at equalising all the way to the bottom. Nevertheless Suhendra never complained or gave up on me - his patience was admirable. If you want to learn to dive then I couldn't recommend this store enough. You may think it's a bit pricey but when it comes to scuba diving safety is a major priority. You're in safe hands here at iDiveBali so I can definitely say the price tag is worth it! So get in touch with the organisers as soon as you can. They're super friendly and will work out the best way for you to achieve your dream of witnessing what's in the ocean - nature's greatest gift! :-)

Dear Hadera, we're glad our suggested program worked well with you, and more importantly you fulfilled your dream of witnessing the ocean - nature's greatest gift! We think that when you're clear about what you want, willing to discuss it, and have the determination like you did, you could achieve many things. Because the key is YOU, we're just there to support. It's your "emocean" that count!

There are so many dive centers spread across Bali which can be confusing at times, idivebali is unique in its own way, pioneered by two amazing guys. I took an OW course with Suhendra as the instructor, a very detailed guy with high level of safety awareness which is a very crucial factor in developing new divers but still giving some important tips that is very helpful. Finished the course and continue a fun dive with them at Nusa Penida and they are an awesome dive leaders who is well familiar with the surrounding of the dive spot like their own backyard. Price wise, it's highly competitive and worth the experience. All you need is a will...they will settle with the rest and you will have an awesome activity with them.
