Petitenget Temple is located right in front of the beach. Unique and calm temple.
There is an entrance fee to visit. The parking lot is quite spacious.
Indeed, this temple is not very large, but usually it will be busy when there are religious ceremonies. And tourists can see it.
After visiting the temple, you can sit and watch the sunset at Petitenget Beach

Our accommodation was a fair way away from this temple, so we used to use it as a destination to walk to.
When you get there, you realise just how beautiful this building is and that it is a focal point for the local community. There is lots of free parking and access to the beach which isn’t as straightforward as it sounds in this town.
Around it, you can buy food and drinks from the locals and also souvenir should you desire.

This easily accessible temple just off the beach is good for a small spot. It's very peaceful and the architecture is very interesting.

I read about this temple from Lonely planet Bali April 2016 edition and it indicated the entry fee was 10K IDR. At the entrance, they asked for 50K, a 500% hike! I don't begrudge a donation but when we dorned our sarongs, the guards continued to indicate our sarongs were too short despite using same for many temples over the pas 30 years! We indicated if that was so, we will not pay and enter. The sarongs were covering mid calves.
We were only able to see the very small ground just at the entrance as all doors were shut with entry for worshippers only. We could have seen everything standing just outside the temple gates had we known. Such a rip off for a 2- minute visit.

This is a nice little temple very close to the beach. We visited despite the reviews that people had been charged a lot for a sarong and to enter. We walked 3 miles from our hotel on Kuta (mostly to see the temple) and it definitely wasn't worth that. If you happen to be staying close by you might want to pop in but we were charged 50,000rp each to enter and borrow a sarong, despite me having one of my own which I put on in front of them (but it wasn't good enough) and my husband wearing long trousers. We felt ripped off as the temple is fairly small and there is not much to see. The grounds inside weren't well kept and there was lost of rubbish around and modern things left/stored there (e.g. Vending carts). I wouldn't visit unless this was your only chance to see a temple in Bali.

This small temple complex is not far from our Vasanti hotel , so we give it a visit .
There's a parking space near the temple , paid for a small sum of money .
Appropriate dress is required , so we rent a sarong for IDR 20.000 each.
The temple complex consists of several gates , and the main temple. Nice to take photographs inside the complex.
The beach nearby, was quiet and clean,so we go for a swim also .
Overall, a nice Pura to visit , if you are in the neighborhood.
