About
Amed Jepun Divers is a well established dive center located in Amed, east Bali (3 hours drive from the airport, Ngurah Rai). Amed is the general name, but it actually covers over a lot of small villages along the coast; around 14 kilometers. The atmosphere is relaxed, the surroundings are beautiful, and the diving is Amazing! Come as a stranger, leave as a friend!

We were recommended Amed Jepun Divers to guide us around the best dive sites in Amed while we are there. This family run business is really friendly and professional. They make you feel comfortable on land and safe in the water.
I had not dived for many years and Made, our dive guide was patient with me while I got comfortable in the water. He kept a good eye on me but was not intrusive, allowing me space but giving me help when needed.
Made has great knowledge of the local dive sites and we saw loads of amazing critters. He knows when and where to dive to avoid current, bad viz and the like. He goes above and beyond to make your diving experience the best it can possible be. Back at the dive center Serge and Kira are so friendly. I'm sure we will choose Amed Jepun Divers when we go back to Amed, hopefully in the near future.

Serge, Kira and Made were very lovely from the start. They were very welcoming and informative and listened to our interests to give us dive experiences that we were after. The dive at the Japanese Wreck and the night Dave were particularly amazing. I’d recommend Jepun Divers to anyone!

I had such a great time diving with the team at Jepun Divers. They are all very friendly, and work hard to make you comfortable from the moment you arrive, offering you a drink, and sitting down to talk to you about what you want to do.
I came for a few days to do my Open Water certification, and left 10 days later with Advanced, Deep and Nitrox certifications. I had Simone (and Kirstin) instructing me throughout, and he made everything very clear and easy to understand in pre-dive briefings and post-dive debriefs.
I also did fun dives with Kira, Luana and Made, all of whom were great guides with a lot of knowledge to share. They are very happy to show you the great sites in Amed, and that diving here is much more than just the liberty wreck (but they can show you the electric clam here if you ask nicely!)
After diving the shop is a great place to hang out for a drink with the team and other divers. They really live up to their slogan, and you will leave as a friend - or feeling like family.

Dive there with Mika, and it was an amazing experience.
First, the dive center came to pick-us at the hotel with a friendly driver. Once at the center the owner welcomed us as well as Mika our instructor.
It was a first for us to go diving, and we had a fabulous day. The instructor took time to brief us properly and didn't rush us at all once in the water. We struggled a bit, but he was really calm and patient, and we never felt unsafe.
Small dive shop that value time and quality over anything else (except safety, of course!). Definitely, some of us will come back for their Open water class!

Diving is more fun with friends. Can't bring yours? Serge and Kira (and Peanut the stoic dog) got you covered. The owners live by their slogan, "come as a stranger, leave as a friend," and go above and beyond when dealing with their customers. Whether you're a seasoned diver looking for new amazing sites or just thinking of giving diving a go, they will make sure your experience is unforgettable. But they'll also gladly help you out if you need help getting a ride or picking a local restaurant or if you're really really thirsty after a dive and in dire need of a Bintang (or 2. Or 3. Or 4). My own experiences had me coming back 2 more times. And for sure more in the future.

Me and my son went on two dives, my wife and daughter came along for snorkling with Amed Jepun divers.
They were exceptionally friendly and helpful. They were attentive and they went out of their way to make sure that we were good and everything was ok.
The staff were outgoing, had perfect english (and danish), a very friendly and including attitude.
We had two good dives with good views of the USS Lberty, sea turtles, eagle ray, stingrays, giant morays and many other things.
The dives were well planned and adjusted to our needs. My son went with Serge and I went with a group of 4. We joined up under water as planned and got the photos we wanted. It all went perfectly.
They were great with my kids. They were interested in them, asked them questions and included them in the talks. Both my kids had a good time on this trip.
We had a great experience. We will definitely come back to Amed Jepun Divers next time we are here.

Absolutely recommend this place. I did my Open Water with Simone and had the best training I could have asked for. He made me feel super confident and safe under water.
Also the dive center is a very nice and relaxed place to hang out, even for my partner who didnt participated in any of the dives or courses. He was welcomed every day in the shop to chill while I did my training.

I just finished my Open Water Course with those guys. Evertyhing super well organized, I felt taken care of all the time. Pepan was my instructor and I highly recommend him, professional and safety. Everything explained very thoroughly, I got answers to all my questions. They are teaching with SSI system which is super good, it also lets you learn from materials in your language as well write the exam in it - it was very helpfull for me. I’m already thinking about coming back :) thank you guys and hopefully see you soon! 👌

Great diving with amazing service. lovely staff that pick us up every morning at our hotel. Great local diving instructor, who has done many dives on the reef. Would recommend the diving center to every one if you are i Amed.

Staff were super friendly with a very welcoming environment. Pepan was my dive instructor very good he explains very well about instruction and how the dive plan will go on each dive. Would highly recommend as everyone is easy to get along with and very professional at there jobs. Thank you again team.

Hi, sorry we do not offer snorkeling trips, only scuba diving. If you would like to try diving (half a day, 2 dives introduction) we will be happy to take you. If not, hope you find what you’re looking for, and enjoy your time in Bali :)
